Video game coder, Harley Kelso, thought a tandem skydive would help her make her latest game more realistic. Instead, it literally put her in the arms of the sexiest man she's ever seen. Geeky to the core, Harley is the polar opposite of big and burly Beckett, but that doesn't stop her from wanting to play more carnal games with the sexy soldier.

When Beckett "Coach" Ralston offers to fill-in at a friend's skydiving club, he doesn't suspect he'll meet a woman who will change his life--and he definitely doesn't expect her to save it. But that's exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She's earned Coach's complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest...

Until she disappears without a trace.

With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her--especially when he becomes the main suspect.

** Rescuing Harley is the 3rd book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

This is a great book and a great series. I have loved every S. Stoker book. I only have a few auto-buy authors, and she is one of them.

Harley, a video game coder, knows she's not exactly society's standard of normal, and she's accepted and embraced it. She's comfortable in her own skin and has no time for those who feel otherwise. She has her brother, Davidson, and her sister, Montesa, and loves her job. Now if she could just get the sequencing perfected for a skydiving scene on her newest game, she'd be even happier. When she decides she needs to experience it in order to design it, she has no idea how her world is about to completely change. Beckett, aka Coach, a member of Delta Force, is currently helping out a friend by assisting at his skydiving company. When he meets Harley, he's intrigued, even though she's not his usual type. But there's something about her that enthralls him and it just grows stronger after their jump, especially considering she literally saved his life. Harley is definitely attracted to the sexy Coach, but knows it's highly unlikely a man like him would be interested in a nerd like her. (#NerdsRule) Thankfully, she's wrong and Coach is very interested. As they get to know each other, they both realize they've discovered something real, something worth exploring, and it isn't long before their connection, their attraction, grows into a once in a lifetime kind of love. But real life does intrude and while Coach and Harley are out with a few of Coach's friends, they witness an incident of bullying that brings back very painful memories for Coach. After helping those looked down upon for being themselves, he verbally puts the bullies in their place, and unable to contain his grief any longer takes Harley home and then drives away needing some space. It isn't long before Coach returns and literally pours his heart out to Harley, solidifying their relationship. When Harley seemingly disappears without a trace afterwards, Coach doesn't know what to do. He's used to having a specific enemy to focus on, but Harley just seems to have vanished, leaving no particular leads to follow. Unfortunately, the police feel differently and decide to focus on Coach. Will Coach not only lose the woman be loves, but also be charged for it? Where is Harley? Has someone taken her? Was she more upset about Coach's actions with the bullies than he thought? Is Harley okay? Will someone find her before it's too late? Will Coach and Harley get their HEA? One-click now and watch as two people meet under unusual circumstances, discovering a love that few people are blessed enough to find. This is book three in the series and I highly recommend reading them in order. **I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**

Computer geek and game developer Harley takes her work of coding realistic video games so seriously that she signs up to jump out of a perfectly good plane to experience a parachute jump to experience the details that will make her current game design more relistic. Luck and fate team her with Beckett (aka Coach) as her jumpmaster. Coach is an Army Delta team guy with lots of experience parachuting and the patience to answer all of Harley's gazillion questions about parachuting (which comes in handy when things go wrong.). The chemistry between the two is strong from the begining and their relationship is beautiful. I loved how coach brings introverted Harley out from the safety of her compter and shares his world and Delta family with her. Cannot waitfor the next story.

Another excellent one in this series. I just love Ms Stoker's storylines, of how the main characters meet, the plots are so original. I loved that the women are equally hero's in the stories. I liked that this book addresses bullying. I have read all published books by this author and have pre-purchase several that are not published yet, can't wait until they are available. Another must read. mjw

Another Great One This one was a little different than the others but just as wonderful. Ghost was helping his friend at his parachuting business while he was off. Harley decided she needed to do a jump to understand it better for a video game she was coding. That were they met. Her jump ended up saving his life and bringing them together.

This is Delta Force Heros Book 3 and it stars Beckett "Coach" Ralston and Harley Kelso. If I could live surrounded by these amazing men and women I would definitely do it. The attention Coach gives to Harley is enviable. Her nerdy personality needed to adjust to being adored by a large, sexy military man. I love that Harley is nerdy but tough at the same time. Seeing Coach lose it when Harley went missing nearly brought tears to my eyes. Seeing every man, woman and child in their group drop everything to help find her was amazing. This story is full of family, love, acceptance and one very large, very muscular, sexy military man who WILL NOT tolerate bullying. BRAVO!!! Fantastic story! Another 5-Star review for this BRILLIANT author!

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book. Susan Stoker never fails to hook me with her super HOT Heroes and Strong Heroines. Once again she has hit a homerun with this one. I recommend ALL of her books. You can read them as stand alone books but I recommend you read them in order. It enhances the story and the reoccurring characters make more sense if read in order. I CANNOT wait for the next book to come out. TWO THUMBS UP for this one.

So Harley and Coach actually rescue each other in this new Tale of the Delta Force and really enjoyed getting to know these 2 better. Annie makes appearance and is just as cute. Definitely a book to put in your library especially to revisit later.

I love how Ms Stoker writes her heroines as far from perfect. We have Harley...The nerd, socially awkward, shy, computer geek who prefers online to people. Then we have Coach....The hot, smooth, (dare I say it) puppy dog that can bite! He feels an instant connection to Harley when he see's her even though she's not "his type". He watches her for a bit and realizes that his "type" is actually her! In this story we don't have the guys rushing in to save Harley in the physical sense, but Coach saves her on a personal/mental sense as much as she saves him. (Although she does save him in the physical sense). The story progresses in a very smooth way with the H/h getting to know each other and taking things slow as Harley realizes how much Coach cares for her. When they finally make love, the scene is explosive! Loved the story of this one!!

This book is the continuation of the Delta Force Series, book 3. I LOVED this story!! Harley is such a great character. She is so realistic and spunky. Johnny Beckett/Coach is such a great character too. This story is well paced. It flows beautifully and just can't be put down. Harley writes codes for video games and Coach (no his name has nothing to do with purses, like I thought) is a Delta Force Soldier. They meet at a skydiving place. There is all kinds of drama with their skydive, but it is such a great part of the story. Their relationship is so great to read. They both have such a wonderful chemistry. There is also drama that follows the skydive. She disappears. Did someone abduct her? Is fate working with or against them?? You so need to read this to find out!! You will NOT be sorry for reading this story!!

I loved how I couldn't predict this book. There was still the same romance, strong alpha man, and visiting with the Delta family but I can honestly say I didn't see that one coming! Another great read with great characters.

This book is part of Ms. Stroker’s series Delta Force Heroes. Rest assure , that it’s a stand alone and if like me , you have not read the previous books, you will have no problems following the plot. This one centers around Harley and Coach. Harley is a video game coder, who decides to go skydiving so she can understand the moves and incorporate them in the new game she is creating. At the skydiving outfit, she meets Coach, who will be her instructor and skydiving partner. He is there as a favor to a friend, while on leave from his Delta Force responsibilities. Their interaction was interesting , especially seeing how Coach was fascinated with her, and she was shy but inquisitive with him. She ends up saving his live and a relationship begins. The story is not only about them , but about the loyalty and respect amongst the Delta Force men, their girlfriends , sibling relationships, and the effects of bullying not only to the person being bullied, but also to their loved ones. And of course, it’s about love and finding someone who gets you. A story you will surely enjoy. I was gifted this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
