I can’t wait to now go back and read the first three books in the series. Restless Hearts, by Yahrah St John, is the fourth book in the Harts of Arizona Series. Even though I have not yet read the first three books in the series, I did not feel lost reading this book. Addison Walker and Caleb Hart were a fantastic couple. This book explores how they met and thought they would have a short sexual tryst and how it developed into an enduring love. Caleb is a playboy bull rider that loves his bachelorhood. While at his soon-to-be brother-in-law’s bachelor party, he meets Addison, a twenty three year old virgin. What they experience within the first week sets the tone for how their love affair will go. He continues to hold on to his wild ways, mainly because he is scared to fall in love. Addison falls hard for Caleb and is hurt when he does not reciprocate this love. When Caleb and Addison briefly see each other at the rodeo and he gets hurt, that seems to be indicative of the struggles his sister Rylee and brother Noah went through to claim their loves. Caleb pushes Addison away, seemingly for her own good, and has to live with his choice. I truly believe it was kismet that they met up again, a second time, four years later. They have both grown into strong people and are now ready for a future together. They know it won’t be easy, but they feel they are worth the struggle. Not having read the first three books in the series, I was actually glad that this book gives wrap-ups of Rylee and Amar; Lucas and Kenya; and Noah and Chynna. This book not only showed that love can be enduring, it included a character, Uncle Duke, to show how not to love. He was an integral part in Caleb becoming the more mature man at the end of the book. I can’t wait to now go back and read the first three books in the series. -Reviewed by Selina
