About the Author

Kate Canterbary doesn't have it all figured out, but this is what she knows for sure: spicy-ass salsa and tequila solve most problems, living on the ocean--Pacific or Atlantic--is the closest place to perfection, and writing smart, smutty stories is a better than any amount of chocolate. She started out reporting for an indie arts and entertainment newspaper back when people still read newspapers, and she has been writing and surreptitiously interviewing people--be careful sitting down next to her on an airplane--ever since. Kate lives on the water in New England with Mr. Canterbary and the Little Baby Canterbary, and when she isn't writing sexy architects, she's scheduling her days around the region's best food trucks.

This is the book I needed for when I finished Necessary Restorations. Although I felt complete at the end of Sam and Tiel's story, there was a part of me that did want to learn more from their POV. Reading Necessary Restorations is a necessity and all the books before. This book fits in the timeline and gives you insight to these characters interworking. As I stated before, Sam and Tiel are beautifully complex. And Kate Canterbary delivers an imperfect HEA. Because seriously, isn't that how real life is? Again the story gives you a mass of emotions without being 'ruined' and some great insight for the other Walsh members. I didn't expect this book to be any easier, and trust me, Ms. Canterbary delivers on this. But you'll become deeper engrossed in the tale and addicted for more Walsh family stories. I find once I have an author that weaves a story that captures my attention, I will be forever drawn. It's hard to put into words how she captivates this reader, but this will be one series I know I will find myself re-reading over again like a favorite TV drama you binge every time it comes on. 5 out of 5 stars.

Restored (The Walsh Series Book #5) Kate Canterbary Sam and Tiel part two. I love Sam and Tiel together, I love their individual quirks their mutual love and admiration for each other. I didn’t think there was any more to their story, then I read Restored. There was so much more to add to their story. I love how there was little snippets and teasers for the other Walsh’s and their ongoing stories. Kate’s talent for drawing her readers in and holding on until the end is indescribable. She makes you want to get lost in the Walsh world, and never be found. You cannot go wrong with 1-clicking ALL of Kate Canterbary’s books.

Laugh out loud funny, excellent character development, sexy devoted leading men and strong leading ladies , what more could you want? I also love this series because Sam has Type 1 diabetes which is rarely represented in books. Someone I love very much has it and I like to read and critique the accuracy of the Type 1 life ha

OMG!!!! This book was amazing.......and yes I have loved all the books in this series but this one was something else. Not often do you read a book that keeps it real........especially with the trying to start a family part of this book and the toll it can take.....I don't want to give anything away but......holy cow, this author got it right.......this really hit home for me and brought on an ugly cry ok a couple ones..........I am so in love with Sam......but I have said that about every Walsh Brother.......so I guess Riley is next to fall in love with.......can't wait for the next book!!!!!!!

I've spent the past week getting to know and loving the Walshes (reviews for previous four books to come). In retrospect you one have to tread Necessary Restorations in order to read Restored, but I love reading all the previous books so I can get to know the characters. Sam and Tiel have to be the cutest, quickest couple of the Walsh game. They just fit together, even though they seem so different. Sam is posh, well dressed, seemingly well bred. Tiel is wild. She wears erratic clothes and has lived an independent lifestyle for years. But there is more to her, more to Sam than meets the eye. We see those demons come to life in Necessary Restorations. We see them grow an unlikely friendship that was always destined to turn to more. At least in my opinion. Here we get the story of what happens after the "Happy ending", we get to see the inside of a marriage, one that we don't always see because there are few "where are they now" books. Sam and Tiel's story didn't end with Necessary Restorations. In fact it didn't even end with Restored. There will be more Walsh books, we will see them grow a life outside of their books. Kate Canterbary took two characters we know and love and she showed us what happens after the happy ending. The demons they conquered in the first book are still there, subdued but there nonetheless. I loved revisiting two of my favorite characters. But I didn't like crying. Because I never expected to cry while reading the Walshes. So a heads up. There is emotion in this book. Restored has everything I've grown to love. It has siblings that love each other while still wanting to kill one another. It has hot sex. It has heart, it has love. It has family. Family is important to the Walsh tribe. It's a reoccurring theme in all the books, and coming from a rather large family myself I love that. I had to walk away from the book for a while. Because I knew what was coming and I was afraid. So I stopped, cried, and then cried some more when I went back. Really there's nothing I can say about this book except I wish it didn't have to end. I cannot wait for what the Walshes get up to in the next book.

I loved the continuation of Sam and Tiel's story! This story pulled at my heartstrings! Definitely worth reading. I'm looking forward to reading more about the Walsh family as the series continues.

Kate Canterbary’s newest book Restored is a continuation of Sam’s and Tiel’s story. The best way to describe this story is simply “perfection.” This author has a way of creating characters with so much depth and personality that you not only get lost in the storyline, but also in the relationships and what each character brings by their presence. Having read all of Canterbary’s books, I will say I felt most drawn to the love story of Sam and Tiel and to have this book, which continues their story, was truly a delight. I will not spoil anything with content so that each reader can discover the ups and downs, trials and tribulations for themselves; however, I will say that once I started reading I could not stop until I was finished. I love that in each of Canterbary’s books you get more details about all of the characters you have read about in previous books along with a deeper insight into how each of the couples’ relationships are growing. Restored is no exception, with Riley making me laugh out loud at his comments, and crying over the ordeals Sam and Tiel were forced to face. When I finished, I was sad to have already completed something I had to work so hard to wait patiently for, but was left satisfied with a sense of happiness with the final development of each character. Plus, I can always reread Restored as I have done more than once with all of Kate Canterbary’s previous books. I cannot recommend Restored and all other books by Kate Canterbary enough.

Sam and Tiel have more to say in "Restored," The Walsh Series Book 5. A lot more, to be exact. To be honest, I wasn't quite sure how happy I was going to be when I first learned that Book 5 of this incredibly realistic and wonderfully written series was going to be about a repeat couple (in case you didn't know, "Necessary Restorations," aka Book 3, was also about Sam and Tiel), rather than visit someone else in the family that hasn't received any love yet. Let me say this: my qualms were squashed as soon as I started reading. Maybe it's just me, but each time I read one of the books in The Walsh Series, I fall in love with those characters and say "Okay, these ones are my favorite," until I read the next book and I fall in love all over again. Regardless, right now, Sam and Tiel have inched their way back to the top of my favorite couple. This installment does not skimp on anything that Kate Canterbary is known for. There's plenty of sass, steam, secrets, and sexy times. Don't be fooled, though. If you've read the first book about Sam and Tiel, then you'll know to expect some rough road for these two. Nothing is perfect but Sam vows to make Tiel happy in his own perfect way. She belongs to him and he'll go to the ends of the earth to make sure she knows how much he loves her. And this book has everything. There's a wedding, secrets, big reveals, family drama, happiness, sadness, and even a bit with a dog. I don't like writing spoilers and I refuse to do it now. While reading this book I found myself laughing, smiling, trying to prolong my progress because it was written so beautifully that I never wanted it to end. The realness that Kate is able to captivate in her books is unmatched. At one point, my heart was breaking into a million pieces and I was desperately trying to wipe away my tears so I could finish. I felt a certain part of this book on such a personal level and I could relate, sympathize with the characters, and I felt every single emotion they were going through. Definitely pick yourself up a copy of this book. This series can be read all as stand alone novels, but why do that? They're great alone, but better when read in consecutive order. I'm never disappointed with anything by Ms. Canterbary and I know you won't be either if you enjoy quality writing, depth of characters, researched subject matter, and incredible sexy times.

Restored, I felt was a lot different than the previous Walsh books. It was the trials and tribulations that we face just growing up. Marriage, wanting children. Though, their very different from the normal drama that comes with relationships.  Sam and Tiel are two people that really get each other. No secrets, No trust issues. But still it doesn’t mean they have their own worries. That their not beating themselves up on things, they have no control over. Even with all the money in the world, it doesn’t mean you don’t have your personal issues.  I really felt, that this was a beautiful story. Of two people coming together. Wanting everything, that you would ever want. Just when you think, that they won’t get past something. You realize they have each other and that’s really all they’ll ever need.  Restored, is this beautiful, brilliant, forgiving and amazing story. I really couldn’t get enough of it. I read it so fast, I was sad that it was over. Canterbary really made these Walshes mean so much to readers. With all their different personalities, their different goals, being there with them through their toughest times. Being able to experience their joy. Let’s not forget, those steamy sexy scenes!  Overall, I give this book Five Boundless Stars. I love this series....Lissa

5 stars. I have loved every single book in this series but my absolute favorite one is Necessary Restorations with Sam & Tiel. And now the writer lady has gifted me with another peek into the lives of these to flawed weirdoes. Sam isn't quite as neurotic anymore and I love him all 'grown up'. Read it!

I absolutely love this series and the entire family that it is about. Restored is the continuation of Sam and Tiel’s story and unlike the other books in this series, it really shouldn’t and can’t be read as a standalone. At the end of Necessary Restorations, I loved Sam and Tiel as a couple but still wasn’t completely sold on them as individuals. There were quite a few unanswered things for me and that kept me from loving them individually as much as I have loved the characters from the other books in the series. Restored has completely changed that for me. Every question I had, that very small thing I couldn't figure out that kept from really connecting to the characters separate from each other was suddenly gone and I connected to them completely. When I read the last word on the last page, I felt lost. This book made me feel such a broad spectrum of emotions that I knew I would need time to recover before I could read anything else. It’s not often that a book will completely consume my thoughts and emotions after I finish reading it but this book is definitely on that short list. The book picks up after Sam and Tiel’s reunion. For a couple who became engaged in the epilogue of Necessary Restorations and married in The Cornerstone, it was amazing to see how they overcame the obstacles in their relationship to move forward. Their journey toward each other hasn’t been easy but together, when they are honest and communicating, and stable, they can face anything. What I loved so much about this story is its realness. Love is not always clean, clear lines toward HEA. Life can be difficult. Family can be difficult. Things come along that can test a relationship and the strength of the people in it. When a relationship is a partnership, no mountain is too steep. That is what I saw in Sam and Tiel’s relationship in this book. Keep tissues handy. I cried and laughed so much during this book and once I started, I couldn’t stop until the last page. This is hands down my favorite in the series so far! *I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.*

Tissues. STAT. Well, Ms. Canterbary, you have done it again. The Walsh Series is a favorite of mine, and this installment featuring Sam and Tiel is on point. It needs to be read AFTER at least reading Necessary Restorations, but trust me, you want to know this family! Sam and Tiel had a rougher road than the other siblings that have found love. While I loved the book where they fell in love, Necessary Restorations, their story just didn't seem over. RESTORED takes them on a journey that is never talked about, but so many people travel silently. I laughed, I cried, and laughed some more. I'm so excited to see what comes next for this fabulous family, and highly recommend reading RESTORED.
