Overview

As it turns out, the undead aren't the only ones with a desire for flesh.

Three months have passed since the outbreak in Blue Meadow. The entire North American continent, and probably the entire world, is overrun with the undead. Since then, Julia, her kids, and the rest of the group have done whatever it takes to survive.

While scavenging through the baren country, they meet a mysterious stranger who tells them about The Colony- a safe haven up in Minnesota that has been successful in keeping out zombies and infection. Taking blind faith the stranger's word, they head north.

When the group gets to The Colony, it's more than they could have hoped for- shelter, food, supplies, and more survivors.

One night, Lizzy sneaks out of bed. What happens to her in the darkness will change her life and the lives of everyone around her forever.

An unspeakable act of violence leads to a resurgence of the virus, and it consumes The Colony.

***WARNING- NOT RECOMMENDED FOR YOUNG READERS!*** Contains some adult language, violence, and an intense instance of child abuse. Do NOT read if unable to handle those circumstances!
