About the Author

Berkson has been an educator, researcher, practitioner and author in the health care and nutrition field for decades. She started out in the late 1970s and 1980s training a new bred of nutritionally oriented physicians of diverse professions. Berkson is known for combining cutting-edge nutritional science with entertainment. She has written books on diverse aspects of health, designed many of the first-line nutraceuticals used by doctors to prescribe for their patients, has a master's degree in nutrition, several higher board certifications in nutrition, and has been a participating scholar at a science driven think tank at Tulane and Xavier Universities. Berkson hosted her own nutritional talk show in the Bay Area. She consults for both doctors and patients, and has authored numerous health and even environmental books.
