Shalom Chevarim, As I am a Hassidic Jewish Believer in Messiah Yeshua, I must say Rabbi Tzahi Shapira has brought forth a Masterpiece concerning the Divinity of the Messiah through the proper channels concerning Halakha and the Jewish format of study called PARDES. He has brought forth an engaging and challenging approach that cannot be disregarded nor thrown to the side by anyone who is truly a student of Debar HaShem. Truly what we have here is a work that will resound throughout our generation and the many generations to come. In this work you will be taken on a journey through the eyes of a Rabbinical Jewish understanding that, in my personal opinion, has not been done for quite some time. Many within the messianic movement, modern day churches and so forth, have not seen things through the eyes of a Rabbinical Orthodox Jewish perspective because they are afraid of truly embarking upon that journey. If one does not approach the Word of HaShem through its proper context and proper framework they will lack in finding true understanding of Judaic thought. What Rabbi Shapira has brought to the table is an understanding from a Rabbinical Orthodox Jewish perspective that is not foreign to Normative Judaism nor goes against anything the Ancient Sages have discussed and believed in times past. He takes you through the process with ease and simplicity that even a child could grasp hold of and at the same time reveals how intricate and complex we as Jews are when we approach a subject. Truly it is my personal opinion that for any true student whether they believe in Yeshua or not… they must BUY THIS BOOK and research it out for themselves! It will challenge you; it will cause you to think and most of all it will be a resource that you will be able to pull from for the rest of your life! As a Hassidic Jew and follower of Rebbe Yeshua HaNetzari, I have been discouraged by a large amount of the writings from messianic authors because of their lack of understanding concerning Halakha or for that matter their lack of understanding in regards to Hassidic Jewish thought. Now with that said though, I truly have been impressed by Rabbi Shapira staying true to the format of a Rabbinical Orthodox Jewish perspective and am absolutely grateful to know that there still exist a remnant amongst my fellow Jews who truly do follow the proper channels of study and research. When we as Jews approach a subject of any matter we are encouraged to ASK QUESTIONS! There is an old idiom amongst us Jews, “Two Jews equals three opinions”! So with that said get ready to be exposed to the Jewish way of thinking in full force. Have fun in your journey learning and let this work, The Return of the Kosher Pig, help you understand the Messiah through proper context and proper approach!
