In the meantime, the number of inhabited worlds that are exposed to potential harm is increasing and the Solarans have indications that there may be other survivors of the terror Dael has already unleashed.
Andy is also painfully aware of the shortage of personnel and equipment needed to deliver the protection umbrella that the Solarans intend to provide. There is evidence that there are other forces at large that will make the
Solaran's job even more difficult. So in addition to finding a planetary scale mass-murderer, they must adjust to the need for a larger presence to cover a much larger area.

About the Author
In 1969 he accepted a position with the Alaska Division of Insurance as Chief of Market Surveillance. Don married Mie in 1977 and they have three children and two grandchildren. He retired from state government in 1997. Don then formed a consulting firm that offers consulting and examination services to state governments and is still active in that field today.
Don has been an avid reader of science fiction since high school and has wanted to write in that genre for some time. This is his fifth book.
