Reunited for the Holidays (Love Inspired Series) by Jillian Hart

Twenty-five years ago, Dr. Brian Wallace and Belle Colby were married with two sets of twins—toddler boys and infant girls. Then the young family was torn apart. Each took a girl and boy and went their separate ways—never to see one another again. Brian is stunned to return home from a mission to find all the siblings reunited at their mother's Texas ranch. He has never forgotten Belle or how much he loved her. Will unanswered questions stand in the way of this family finding their long-awaited second chance?

Reunited for the Holidays by Jillian Hart Texas Twins Series Book 6 Brian Wallace finally returns to his home in Fort Worth. Due to unforeseen circumstances he was not able to contact his family. In fact, he was through such a traumatic time that he has realized he has been given a precious second chance at life. At least with his three children. There will always be a hole in his heart for the other three he lost forever….or did he? Seems there has been quite a few changes in the six months he’s been gone. Belle Colby has been in a coma for six months. Nothing like waking up and seeing two of her children for the first time in twenty-five years. Add to that the fact all of them have found their soul mates. But nothing tops the moment when the one man she never planned to see again in her life walks into her room at the convalescent home. And how quickly her heart recognizes him. This was a really good series with enough loose ends to keep you coming back to read the next book. Jillian Hart pulls together all the loose ends from the previous five books to give the readers closure. I found it tough to leave the Wallace/Colby clan and Grasslands, Texas, the characters were all written so well and pulled the reader into their world. In this final book we see how several of our characters have to face their past and forgive themselves and others so they can move ahead to the future and good things that God has planned for them.

Jillian Hart closed out the series of Texas Twins, with a wonderful Christmas story. The involved a family with 2 sets of twins, boys and girls; the parents each took a boy and girl, because the mother went to Witness Protection. The father remarried and had a son, so their was a reunion of 5 children with their birth parents. Both parents suffered serious physical ailments, which all the more encouraged this family reunion. The story is about the mom and dad and their relationship, which Jillian deals with in a very loving way. There is a mystery to be solved, but that's up to the reader. I received this book for an honest opinion and no expectation of remuneration.

It was so wonderful to read a book of renewed love for a middle aged couple. I could place myself in the story and dream! I loved how they handled their grown children and surprise events. Would recommend this to all ages. It was so full of love and hope!

After reading the other books in this series, I eagerly awaited the final book. I was not disappointed. As a matter of fact I was quite please that it turned out as it did. I couldn't imagine Brian walking away from his family and not looking back. I loved the series.

After reading the other five books in this series, I was eagerly awaiting this last book to find out why the family had been torn apart. I was disappointed. The reason was barely believable for one thing. Witness Protection?? When people go into the Witness Protection Program in real life, none of their family or friends know where they are or their real identities, yet Belle's ex-husband was given some information. When the murderer was no longer a risk to their safety, Belle would have been informed, yet she wasn't, and it was a month before she had her accident so she could have been contacted by her handlers, nor did her children receive any mysterious phone calls for Belle while she was in a coma. Belle and Brian both "over thought" everything and second guessed everything, especially their feelings. This story was repetitive on the part of Belle and Brian as well...the same things were repeated. The dialogue between Belle and Brian sounded more like it was between two teenagers rather than two mature adults. I just felt let down after reading this book and it was almost boring compared to the other five in the series.
