As the only one of her siblings not yet married, Franchesca LaCasse buries herself in her work to keep from dwelling on her circumstances. An accomplished biochemist, she is usually able to do just that. But when she takes a tumble, directly in the path of the most handsome man she's ever seen, life as she knows it undergoes a complete change. After experiencing his touch when he assists her, she yearns for more of it and accepts his offer to recuperate at his beautiful home in the town of Nice. But all is not as it seems. First she'll have to learn to trust him completely, even when her intuition tells her otherwise because nothing matters to her anymore but the touch of this stranger. He draws her like a moth to flame.

Reeling from the shock of having a woman fall directly in his path, Damon Dumont isn't prepared for the effect trying to revive her will have on him. Distancing himself from the opposite sex after the devastating betrayal of the woman who had pledged to love him, the last thing he's looking for is a relationship. But, as she opens her eyes and looks up at him, he feels the impact of her gaze like a shock, as his body responds like he's never experienced before. He's in a quandary, unable to walk away. So, to keep her by his side, he opens up his home to her and, in so doing, also opens his heart, as he surrenders to the sensual fire that threatens to consume him every time he looks into her eyes.

I love Ms. Ephraime's books. She has a unique style and her bedroom scenes sizzle. The story of Damon and Franchesca is a perfect example of how true love can be found in the most unexpected places. They meet after Franchesca falls flat on her face in front of him, and when he stops to help her, just like that the love juices begin to flow. Damon is handsome and rich, and Franchesca is beautiful and smart. When these two strong personalities come together it's like the fourth of July, and like the fourth of July,  the fireworks almost go out when Franchesca finds out Damon had a secret which he has been keeping from her. I was on pins and needles wondering what the secret was, then when it was revealed, I wondered if it could be true. The author keeps the heat and the suspense going almost to the very end. What a rush!

Francesca and Damon - Love conquers all There are strong believable characterizations in this wonderful story and a fiery passion you can actually feel. It is very well written with a good clean pace. Francesca feels and instant attraction to Damon and soon there is an affinity between the two, despite a few moments of awkwardness. Francesca tends to hold back with instinctive caution. She is gifted and professional, with a strict family background and her work is her life. Her early restraints only add to the realism of the book.  A must read for the hopelessly romantic and extremely difficult to put down.

A Great Love Story! This exquisitely written romance is filled with rich descriptions and hot chemistry. The main characters, Franchesca and Damon, are both realistic and interesting. You will quickly grow to know and care about Franchesca and will feel compelled to keep reading right up to the end. I highly recommend this story. I intend to read more of her work.

Well, well, well. I finally found it; an indie that can write! This author's style of writing is everything I wish other writers could be. Yes...it's nice to have different styles, but not when the book suffers. (This book GLOWS) Many authors mistake their style for professonlism when it is merely the forced words of ineptitude. Anything by Amanda Hocking and the author of the Twilight series come to mind. (Ms Hocking started out as an indie.) But this author clearly is well read herself and has deveolped the knack it takes to truely engaged the reader. She doesn't jump from scene to scene telling the story. She shows us as she glides beautifully with complete discriptions of what the characters are doing and the reactions to why. I don't see plot holes or missteps, editing errors or grammer inaccuracies. I see only a glorious writer that wants to share her characters as they fully enjoy themselves. I feel it from her crafted words. And I say crafted because I can feel the time she took to emerse herself in her story instead of throwing word on paper for me to read. . I take this time to comment mostly on the skill of the author because I see so many reviews that regurgitate plot and/or pan the author's skill. Yes, of course the plot is good. But I believe this author could write about a turnip picking contest and the writing would be enthralling. Do yourself a special favor. Introduce yourself to this fine writer's work. You will not be disappointed.

Franchesca meets Damon quite by chance when she’s injured while running. Her attraction to this stranger take her by complete surprise. The spark between these two ignites and a wonderful and very hot, love story begins. Of course, not everything goes smoothly. These characters, and the intense emotional connection between them, completely drew me in, and I was rooting for their happily ever after. I didn't realize it was a series, when I bought it, now I want the others.

I received this ARC copy to give an honest review.  This author's books are quick with romance and they are sizzling hot to read. It is like the male characters are way to hot to even be written. With Rhapsody in Paris this is the little sister's story. Francesca, she is the sister to Wolfe, Foxx, Raymond and Brian. If you have read the other stories in the LaCasse series than you know who these characters are.  Francesca is just as independent and hard headed like the others in her family. And I enjoyed that she was very independent. She didn't relay on others especially a man to do things for her. She is very successful in her job and is doing wonderful. That is until she meets the hot and sexy man they call Damon. He is oh so hot and is perfect for her. Now in all these books the romance is always right in ya face and of course there is always a happy ending and I like that.  When he meets the family I didn't expect Wolfe one of the twins to accept him as quite as easily as he did. I expected more of a let me size you up and find out all about you since your want to date my sister type thing.  Even though I liked this book I felt as though Damon was a bit controlling, especially towards the end when he wanted to rush things. I felt as though just maybe they could have waited for his family, but he just couldn't be without her. Hence that is why I gave this book a 4 star rating. I do enjoy a bit of control from a character but it was too much for me with this one. I can understand his infatuation with his fiery red-head but it was a bit  much.  Overall a good romance story that with the sex scene will leave you hot and bothered. I love the LaCasse family and their romance stories.
