I highly recommend reading TS Eliot's poem Rhapsody on a Windy Night. Eliot did a phenomenal job at keeping me interested throughout the whole poem. Something used throughout the poem that kept me interested is how he stated the time throughout the poem. This kept you wondering what was going to happen in the next hour of the poem. This poem is exciting because it states that one lost his memory and this man is now dreaming walking down the dark street and begins speaking to the street lamps that are providing light for him. The man seems to be dreaming and the lamp is re-writing his past throughout a dream. I believe the poem re emphasizes how important all aspects of life are. Eliot speaks about different events and scenarios that most people come across in their lifetime. Overall it is a poem that will make you think about what you will dream about that night.
