Brotherhood. Club. Family.

They live and ride by their own rules.

These are the Raven Riders . . .

Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon rides hard and values loyalty above all else. He’ll do anything to protect the brotherhood of bikers—the only family he’s got—as well as those who can’t defend themselves. So when mistrustful Haven Randall lands on the club’s doorstep scared that she’s being hunted, Dare takes her in, swears to keep her safe, and pushes to learn the secrets overshadowing her pretty smile.

Haven fled from years of abuse at the hands of her criminal father and is suspicious of any man’s promises, including those of the darkly sexy and overwhelmingly intense Ravens’ leader. But as the powerful attraction between them flares to life, Dare pushes her boundaries and tempts her to want things she never thought she could.

The past never dies without a fight, but Dare Kenyon’s never backed down before . . .

## WOW. This book is STUNNING. I adored the Hard Ink series by Ms. Kaye, so when I saw a spin off series, I jumped at the chance to buy the first book. So good. Normally, I do not buy MC books because I find that the riders treat the "old ladies" like sh*t. NOT the case here. There was so much respect for the women. And I love that the book was inspired by BACA because what they do for kids is amazing. In this first installment, Dare and Haven were scorching hot. Their chemistry was off the charts. I loved how Haven blossomed throughout the book. And I especially love how honest she was. A special thanks to the author for not making us read through a bunch of skanky women coming on to the hero throughout the story (there was one, which I can handle). I hate having to read through sex scenes with others besides the heroine. I highly recommend buying this book and can't wait to read Mav's story.

I loved and enjoyed reading the fabulous and fantastic, amazing and awesome, ARC free from Goodreads Giveaway by the wonderfully, talented Laura Kaye. Haven Randall is on the run from her abusive, controlling, criminal father with her best friend, Cora, and given refuge with the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club. Dare Kenyon, the President of the Ravens, is a protector and a leader of his fellow Ravens, their families, and the women the Ravens help in times of need. Haven and Dare cannot help or stop their feelings for each other growing day by day. As the time draws near for Haven to leave, her father gets closer and closer. If Haven's father gets a hold of Haven, he will make sure she suffers and will never escape again. Read the highly recommended, must read, beautifully written, romantic love story of Haven and Dare.

RIDE HARD is Laura Kaye’s first instalment in her new Raven Riders series, a sort of spin-off of the Hard Ink series, where we had met some of the characters, but RIDE HARD works perfectly as a standalone nonetheless. The Raven Rider Motorcycle Club’s President, Dare Kenyon, was involved in the liberation of Haven Randall, daughter of a criminal boss. She is now hidden in the Raven Riders’ compound, along with her best friend Cora; both girls had escaped together, and they’re best friends. I have to say, I thought there would be more action than romance, given the tone of Ms. Kaye’s previous series, Hard Ink, but there is quite a bit at the end. I was not enthralled by the romance between Haven and Dare; he’s a real alpha hero, but she’s a fragile rather pathetic little creature, quite unlike the kind of heroines we’re accustomed to from Ms. Kaye. As a bonus, we get to meet again some old friends from Hard Ink, who step in to help the Raven Riders. Ms. Kaye has created a perfectly believable Motorcycle Club, and the bikers feel just as genuine. I cannot wait for the next book, as it features the characters I most cared about in RIDE HARD, Maverick and Alexa, and I also hope to see more from Cora, because I just loved her to bits! I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

We met Dare and some of the other Raven Riders club members in another series by author Laura Kaye. I was so excitedly awaiting this new series. Haven and Cora are two young women who were found during the last battle that the Ravens along with Nick's crew were in battle with. Dare has never put anyone out and he will not do that now. The women are setup at his place and he will do all he can to help them. Haven has had one hell of a life with her father and his goons. Cora is her best friend and they both ran away together. Haven is a very scared woman but with the care Dare gives her she comes around and begins to fall for the big bad biker. Cora is a hoot I just loved her in this book and hope to hear more about her. I love how the author brings others from a previous series into this story. I enjoyed this first book in this new series and I am looking forward to what I hope will be many more books. I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review.

Haven is on the run from her abusive crime lord father. Haven and her best friend land with the Raven Riders MC. Dare is the President of the MC. The Ravens are different than most MCs since their concentration is on helping others. Haven is not the first person they have taken in from a bad situation and helped them get back on their feet. Haven doesn't trust men because of her father. Dare isn't looking for a relationship, especially with one of their clients. He has all the family he needs in the Ravens. This was my first Laura Kaye book but I have already bought some others to read. I have not read a lot of MCs but loved that this one was different. It isn't that the Ravens don't do anything that is illegal it is that they are truly trying to make life better for those they help. I am looking forward to jumping into some more Ravens.

Dare Kenyon is the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President. Trying to escape her criminal father, Haven Randall shows up at MC club house. The Raven Riders protect abused women, so when Haven shows up they take her in and protect her. Of course, there is chemistry between Dare and Haven, because this is a romance novel.

Even though I haven’t read the original series to this, I really enjoyed it. I thought the author did an amazing job catching new readers up to speed without feeling like you were getting an info-dump thrown in your lap. I also liked that she didn’t write your typical MC romance. At no point did I feel like I was reading a Sons of Anarchy remake. Not that there’s anything bad with that, sometimes I enjoy it. However, the author did her own thing with this and created unique characters that were unlike the majority MC romances out there. I’ve already added the next book onto my list and plan to read it soon.

Attention grabbing action and hot sex ... what a combination! Damsel in distress meets rough biker dude ... and he takes her for the ride of her life! Really liked meeting more of the Raven Riders and getting to know what they stand for and a bit of their history as a club. It's a steamy read and a really enjoyable one. The only thing that would have made it better was to see more of Ike and Jess. Looking forward to the next book in the series! Raven Riders Motorcycle Club President Dare Kenyon prides himself on running a tight knit family in his club, and helping those in need. They don't always go the legal route, but they always aim for staying as right as they can and lending a hand when needed. When Haven Randall shows up on their doorstep being hunted by her ruthless criminal of a father, they don't hesitate to take her in and vow to keep her safe. When Dare feels a stronger attraction and deeper pull to her than he ever has to anyone before, will he be able to let her go when the time comes to get her to safety that will protect her forever from her father?

The moment Dare Kenyon finds Haven Randall on his doorstep he can't help but want to help her from the hell she has found herself trapped in, it's what he does, help the innocent, the one's who can't defend themselves. His intentions to be her protector start off pretty innocent, but the more time he spends with the beautiful runaway, the more tempting she becomes... and before long the sparks start to fly! When Haven Randall discovers that she is about to be an integral part of one of her fathers shady business dealings, she decides it's time to run, and finds herself landing on the doorstep of the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club. She knows that her father isn't going to let her get away so easy, and that he is bound to hunt her down, so being surrounded by bikers seems like a safe place to hide out. They are known to protect the defenseless, so she is hoping for the first time in her life that she can put her life in the hands of someone else... a seriously sexy biker someone else! From the title of this one I was expecting a gritty romance, but instead I was pleasantly surprised to find something a little softer, and really sweet... who knew bikers could be so romantic! This story had it all, a little edge of your seat action, toe curling romance, heartfelt emotion, and a super sexy biker calling all the shots!! This was my first read from Ms. Kaye, and I have to say her captivating read totally hit the mark, and turned me into a fan! I look forward to revisiting the series in the very near future and having the opportunity to get up close and personal with more of the men from the Raven Riders series!! Highly recommend this one, it was a refreshing first read full of surprises and lots of toe curling romance that left me swooning... and secretly wishing for a Raven Rider of my very own!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

This is my first Laura Kaye experience. I’ve had Ms. Kaye on my TBR since she came out with her PNR series Hearts of the Anemoi and of course I’ve add the Hard Ink and Raven Riders to my TBR pile. Yes, I bought the Hearts of the Anemoi series, all of them, and meant to read, but of course I got distracted, so I’m diving into her MC Contemporary Romance series. Ride Hard is book one in the Raven Riders series by Laura Kaye. It is a spin-off from her Hard Ink series. The Raven Riders series can be read as a standalone and you don’t have to read the Hard Ink series to dive in. Even though I did't read the Hard Ink series I was just fine picking this up. Yes, the guys from Hard Ink make appearances, which of course if you haven’t read them it makes you want to read their stories and for fans who love the Hard Ink guys, it will be a treat to see them again. Raven Riders MC President Dare is honorable, loyal, gruff, and alpha sexy. Haven is shy and has lived a very sheltered life. She and her best friend Cora, have taken shelter with the Raven Riders. Haven brings out Dare’s protective instincts even more then they already are. This story is full of sexual tension between our leads. These two where sweet. They had several endearing moments together, but they also had some very steamy moments. What I liked about Ride Hard was the introduction to all the characters. The guys of the Raven Riders MC are all so scrumptiously delicious and intriguing. I also love that the MC is on the up and up and not a 1% MC, which is the bad kind. These guys have a great mission and what they do is awesome. I love how they are dedicated to helping those who can’t protect themselves. What I had trouble with in this story is that it moved a little slowly at times and I didn't fall head over heels in love with Haven. She felt too innocent, too shy, and I didn't connect well with her. All and all I enjoyed Ride Hard and the introduction into the Raven Riders. I had a delightful time reading this story. If you love a slow burning romance and MC romance, then you should give Ride Hard a try. Rated: 3.5 Stars *Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy provided by Avon via Edelweiss with the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments and ratings are my own.

Dare is as alpha as they come. A fearless leader who knows how to break rules but has the smarts to realize, not every fight is a physical one. Mental ones, can be just as dangerous. Fear is a hard enemy to let go of. Haven quickly learned that trust leads to pain and she is unwilling to endure the hurt again. Can a woman on the edge, open her heart to a dangerous man? Heat and danger are in the driver's seat of this enigmatic suspense.

This is the first book in a spin-off series. It's certainly not necessary to have read that series. I didn't and still very much enjoyed this book. I haven't read much by this author but I know she gets the sexy right and this book is no exception. Drawn by the cover and the MC topic, I couldn't let it sit on my shelf long without cracking it's pages. Dare is older than Haven by 15 years. He thinks that's an issue but Haven doesn't. She's escaping a horrible situation and Dare helps her live for the first time in years. The experiences she's had back home were not good ones and she wants to experience the good things like skinny dipping and riding a motorcycle. Mostly, she wants to experience life with Dare. But Dare has his own issues in his past and he isn't interested in risking his heart. Too bad he can't stay away from her. And when they are together, things are just better for both of them. Motorcycle clubs are an interesting read and I usually enjoy them. This club has a great purpose and I loved how the protective side of these guys was front and center. It makes it clear that they are good at heart. And, of course, there are sexy times in this book. Dare can't keep his hands off Haven. It's adorable actually. He tires so hard to leave her alone but he just can't. She's leaving. They can't be together. They both know that. It would be easier if...yeah, you know how that turns out. I did see where this one would have to go to make things work. I was right but I so enjoyed the journey. And there are some characters from the Hard Ink books that help out and it only made me interested in checking them out more. Sexy and provocative, this story can hold your interest well into the night.

I just adore motorcycle club books, so when I saw this one pop up for review, I HAD to give it a go. I am so glad I did, because I really enjoyed Kaye's first installment in the Raven Riders series! I definitely want to go back and read Kaye's Hard Ink series now and fans of that series will see some familiar faces! Haven and her best friend are on the run and end up finding solace at the Raven Riders' compound. Their president, Dare, has always had a soft spot for those who need help and he can't help but give it to those in need. He's a good guy through and through and I really liked him. He could be a little back and forth when it came to Haven and her feelings for him, but he ultimately was trying to do what was best for her and it took him a minute to realize that her time with them had changed her from the timid, frightened young woman, into a vibrant, strong woman who was done hiding. The two had great chemistry and I did enjoy them together, despite Dare's hot and cold act at times. This book is defined by its strong relationships. I love the bond between the MC brothers and the way they look out for their own. Haven and Cora really lucked out with this crowd. I especially loved their friendship. They complement each other really well and I am both super excited and terrified of Cora's book because I think she has been through something big and has been hiding it from Haven. They are great friends and I love the support system they have built. I did feel the plot was a bit slower moving and it didn't turn as suspenseful as I thought it might, with Haven's father on the hunt for her and a new neighboring MC that may cause problems. Overall, I really enjoyed this one. I am looking forward to continuing the series because I really came to love the characters and I didn't want to leave them!
