Brotherhood. Club. Family.
They live and ride by their own rules.
These are the Raven Riders...

Wild with grief over the death of his wife, Sam “Slider” Evans merely lives for his two sons. Nothing holds his interest anymore—not even riding his bike or his membership in the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club. But that all changes when he hires a new babysitter.

Recently freed from a bad situation by the Ravens, Cora Campbell is determined to bury the past. When Slider offers her a nanny position, she accepts, needing the security and time to figure out what she wants from life. Cora adores his sweet boys, but never expected the red-hot attraction to their brooding, sexy father. If only he would notice her...

Slider does see the beautiful, fun-loving woman he invited into his home. She makes him feel too much, and he both hates it and yearns for it. But when Cora witnesses something she shouldn’t have, the new lives they’ve only just discovered are threatened. Now Slider must claim—and protect—what’s his before it’s too late.

The first I’ve read in this series, the story is based on widower Slider, a member of the Raven Riders MC, and his two sons Sam and Ben, and his slow recovery after his wife’s death. The past two years have been a struggle for him: he’s retreated from everyone in the club, his friends and anything other than work, his sons and the endless loneliness he feels. Obviously still reeling from grief – he can’t find the way to make things better, but being both mother and father, and supporting the family is starting to overwhelm him. He knows he needs help with the boys, so he turns to the best friend of his club’s president’s girlfriend: Cora. Cora and her best friend Haven have found security, acceptance and safety with the Raven Riders, and for now, security and safety are all that Cora wants. Men and relationships don’t enter into her plans: a cruel and abusive father taught her early on that to rely on and love someone could be detrimental to her health and happiness. But when the offer to be the nanny to Sam and Ben appears, Cora is interested and hopes to make some small difference to the boys who are so obviously hurting. Her caring nature, sense of fun and patience instantly speak to the boys, and they are quickly coming to love her. Slider isn’t concerned, much, for he wants the best for his boys, but he can’t help seeing the changes that Cora is bringing about for him. Oh the chemistry between these two is wonderful – and they are both so wounded from their pasts that slow and gentle is the way to go. And the boys and their obvious affection for her, along with their brighter demeanors and cheerful outlook show Slider that Cora was absolutely the right decision. And then, in one moment everything changes. Cora sees something that she shouldn’t have - and the safety she’s pulled around her like a cloak is jeopardized. It’s a turning point for Slider: he must protect Cora: the woman who loves his sons and who showed him the p0ossibility of hope and happiness – or run the risk of being worse off without her. Kaye plays on every emotion – hope, sadness, fear, attraction, humor – and takes us on a ride that lets readers in and shows that finding your place in the world is never without risk, but always well worth the chance. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via Edelweiss for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

## Another ASTOUNDING read by Laura Kaye. This book was perfection. I love this author so much, so I had to buy Slider's story even though I generally do not like books with dead wives. I don't like when a hero is always comparing her to the heroine. Not the case here. They did talk about her, but there was more to the story and it was written perfectly. I adored Slider and Cora together. They had fantastic chemistry and you could feel their strong connection. This book had it all. Humor, suspense, family bonding, good friends, fantastic sex, and best of all romance. The Hard Ink books and these first 3 Raven Riders books are must reads (best in order). I hope there are more stories to come, maybe for Jagger or Caine?

Ride Wild, the newest release in the Raven Rider’s, is Slider and Cora’s story. Slider, the father of two young boys, lost his wife a few years ago and withdrew into himself afterward. Cora stepped in to help Slider by babysitting the boys when he needed. Both of their stories are not as simple as you may think. One of the things I enjoyed the most were watching Slider opening himself up more and more, especially after Cora moved in to Nanny the boys. I also loved the the mutual trust the two of them had for each other. It may not have been easy for Cora to admit to Slider about her past, but the trust they built together made it possible. I thought the characters worked really well together and complemented each other. I do have to say that both Sam and Ben, Slider’s sons, were complete scene stealers. I absolutely fell in love with both boys. Sam was a bit more reserved than Ben, while Ben wore his big heart on his sleeve and in his eyes. This book definitely had a lot of heat and a lot of heart and I would recommend to everyone in a heartbeat. It was my favorite of the series so far. I hope we get to see more of the Raven Rider’s soon! Though it is a standalone, I would recommend reading the previous books (Ride Hard and Ride Rough) to catch some earlier glimpses of the duo.

I had a great time reading this book and Slider and Cora put my emotions through the wringer. Laura Kaye is a phenomenal writer and her stories are always filled with wonderful characters, deep emotions, and beautiful moments between characters. Watching Slider find himself again and learn to embrace life was great to read and probably my favorite part of the story. He's been so burdened with his secrets and his grief that he's given up everything. But the Raven Riders haven't given up on him and that's helped anchor Slider even when he didn't know it was. But even through all of that, his love for his sons shines clearly. I'm a sucker for a hero who's good with kids and the little moments between Slider, Sam, and Ben were adorable! These were probably some of the best written kids in a romance that I've read; they are so unbelievable cute. Cora is also there to help Slider, not just by taking care of his kids but also bringing much needed happiness and fun to his home. I loved Cora and her compassion for others and her selfless giving to everyone around her. Cora and Haven's friendship has been a highlight since the first book and this was no exception. Cora would do anything for Haven and her support just demonstrates how important female friendships in romances are. As Cora finds a place with Slider she begins to see a future that she never imagined. A hard upbringing left Cora feeling alone and when her father does the unthinkable, Cora's confidence is shattered. Cora helps to save Slider but in may ways, Slider saves Cora as well. These two were amazing together and the chemistry jumps off the page whenever they're together. Slider and Cora are hot, hot, hot!! But underneath all the sparks and fire is a deep well of caring and love. The reader can see from the beginning of their relationship that what these two have is real and powerful. Content Note: references and flashbacks to past rape, cancer and death of secondary character, references and scenes of dog-fighting and animal abuse

Love this series. Keeps you turning pages! Really enjoyed Cora and Slider's story and learning more about Haven and Dare. Please make Jagger the next installment. And thank you Laura for donating a portion of the sales from this story to assist in the care of abused dogs.

A Laura Kaye story is always a sure thing for me and this was no exception! Cora and Slider's story was touching and engaging. I did not want to put it down. I had a little bit of an issue with what had happened to Cora and how little she actually dealt with it before getting involved with Slider which is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

The Raven Riders ride again! This one is very emotional and very well done. Cora is one of the two women rescued by the Hard Ink crew from the Church gang (Hard to Come By). She is rudderless and doesn't have anything, except for the room at the Ravens' clubhouse where she sleeps and the babysitting she does for Slider Evans, one of the Ravens who is a widower with two boys. Broken herself, Cora nevertheless begins to bring life and happiness back to the Evans home, both the dad and the boys. She also finds some happiness and stability for herself, finally coming to terms with the abuse heaped on her by her late father. When she stumbles onto a horrible result of an illegal dogfight, she finds it more dangerous than she knew. Readers will also get to meet Bosco, and he's worth the read, just like Alexa's Lucy.

After reading the first two books in this series I was looking forward to learning more about Slider. Slider’s wife died of cancer two years ago, leaving him with two young sons to raise. The pain of losing his wife resulted in Slider distancing himself emotionally and physically from everyone except his sons. He even stopped riding his bike and having anything to do with everyone in the MC. Cora and Haven escaped from a bad situation, saved by the Ravens MC. Haven found her HEA with Dare, the president of the MC. Cora gets hired by Slider to babysit his kids, eventually moving in to be their nanny. As Slider watches Cora with his boys and the love they have for each other, his heart starts to thaw and he begins to live again. One of the things I really like about this series is how this motorcycle club is so protective of women and children. This is a group who has decided to focus on legal business, not drugs or guns. Plus they work with abused women, helping them escape to a safe place. Watching Slider come out of his shell, to start living and feeling again was a joy, and Cora is a fun, happy, sunshiny type of person, bring joy to those around her. Laura Kaye doesn’t rush things, allowing the characters to slowly grow attracted to each other and then try to decide how their relationship would affect the boys because both always put the boys’ needs first.

This has got to be my favorite book in the series, thus far. Maybe even by this author, period! Slider, oh my, he's gone through so much more than I even imagined, and with Cora's help he's finally coming back to himself and his boys. Cora is the best thing that could have happened to the Evans' family, and they for her. I loved the way she was with everyone and that she never seemed to be afraid of Slider, even with all she had gone through before. If ever anyone was more deserving of an HEA, I'm not sure I've met (read) them! But what a journey it took to get them there! And along the way, we got to catch up with so many other favorites. I don't see how this story could have been any better!!!

What a 'Wild Ride'. This is the first Ravens Riders book I have read, and I'll be definitely be going to back to read the first two. Full emotion, the characters were great and real. It would have definitely helped to have read the first two books to get a grasp on the back story but a good read all in all.

I have loved Laura's work since the first book I came upon years ago. This book series is one of my faves and I hope that she continues to write about these amazing men!

Laura Kaye has struck gold with this novel. I absolutely loved it. I already had a soft spot for Slider prior to going in but I had no idea who he really was until this book. Ride Wild had me smiling, swooning, angry, and tearing up. Basically, it gave me all the feels. This is indeed a wild ride and it’s one I highly recommend to anyone who loves contemporary romance. While this story does focus on two different characters from previous books, you really need to read, at least, the first book where Cora is first introduced. Not only does it cover how she came to be in the protection of the club, but it also covers Slider’s recluse nature as well. Without that base knowledge, I don’t feel like you’d get that deep connection with these two that I got. Also, events that happened in the first book are carried over into this one. So, all the conflict that finally bubbles to the surface would seem a bit out of sorts if you were to just pick up this book without reading the first book at least. Don’t worry though because this whole series has been amazing. So, it’s no hardship to have to start from the beginning.

I loved it! The Raven Riders are amazing and I love them all. I was so glad that Cora and Slider got their HEA. I hope there will be more!

I really enjoy her writing style and character development. I loved the hard ink series (my man Jeremy is in my heart forever). Although not a new top favorite, I really enjoyed the realness of Slider as a character. Plus, hot damn.

Simply Amazing!! All I can say about Laura's writing is that it is always wonderful and she never disappoints her readers! So happy to see Slider and Cora get the family that they both deserved. They had to face a lot of trials together before their journey ended, but I loved their story and all of the hard work and research that went into this book. I love the Raven Riders family.

I loved Slider the single father of two sweet boys and Cora who was their babysitter. When Cora and her best friend ended up with the Ravens, she'd never have guessed where her life would end up taking her. Cora and Sliders relationship was so good. They complimented each other perfectly. And those boys were precious. I couldn't put this book down. I was drawn in and needed to see how it ended. This is such a great series!

Cora Campbell has been taking care of Slider's boys since she arrived at the Raven Riders MC with Haven. She's starting to get worried about her place in the club and her long term prospects of staying with the MC. Slider still feels the ache of his wife's death and betrayal, and he's not looking for any relationship. The only relationship that matters is with his boys, Sam and Ben and he's very grateful to Cora for all the love she gives them. When the boys suggest that she move in to be their nanny, Slider has no other choice but to agree. Once Cora and Slider are together in the same house, their feelings for each other blossom into something beautiful. Really. I loved these two together. Slider's reawakening is just awesome and it looks like everything is clear sailing...that is until Cora uncovers a dog-fighting operation that just might be linked to old enemies. I stayed up all night to finish Ride Wild, once I started it I couldn't put it down. Everything just flows so naturally with this story, and there's so much happiness as this family comes together. It isn't all smooth sailing, but that just makes it all the more worth it. I really like this series. Even though the MC has a mission of those in abusive relationships, they still have an edge that keeps them interesting. There's a nice cameo from the Hard Ink crew as well, which is always a welcome scene! Even though you can probably guess most of what is coming in Ride Wild, it's just a sweet story told well that held my interest all the way to the sweet ending. I definitely recommend this MC series.
