Overview

Rider's Revenge by Jamie Begley

Revenge is a seven-letter word that isn't for the faint of heart. It's a word for those who have been wronged.

Jo Turner has been waiting five, long years to finally turn revenge into vengeance. Using Rider, the pretty-faced manwhore, is simply the price she is willing to pay to satiate her desire for revenge. Little does she know, she makes herself a target from the one thing Rider has sworn to give his life to protect--The Last Riders.

When you wake the soldier, be prepared for the consequences.
Rider is going to teach her a hard lesson: revenge is a double-edged sword ... and it always cuts both ways.

Wow this book was wonderful. Shade will always be my favorite but with booke Shade and Rider are neck and neck. Jo and Rider were so perfect for each other. I have thousands of books but Jamie Begley and The Last Riders are far and beyond my favorite. The epiloge just made me sob. I really hate to see them leave. I want them to stay young in my mind forever!!! Looking forward to Gavins story and I jope all the next generation gets a series so we can have more Last Riders to fall in love with.

Such a fantastic read. I love that Jamie's books have such great stories that go with her characters and the sex is as hot as ever !! I can't wait for Gavins story and then the next generation !!

Great book.. love the series. That being said I feel like some of the twists were unrealistic. Jo was so distraught over the rape, that I don't feel like she would be so quick to trust Rider sexually. Riders secrets didn't seem to fit in the storyline, I felt like the story would have been just as good without them. Good read but not my favorite.

You always knew thst Rider's story would be epic, and Jamie Begley delivered. A man with many faces, he almost missed out on the one woman who could show him what love truly is. Warning - The last epilogue is more heartbreaking and touching than the one in Shade's Fall. So sad to realize that only Gavin's book remains, but looking forward to the Ohio chapter and the next generation. A must buy for any fan of this series.

While shade is absolutely my favorite of her books/characters, I found a new top contender. I cannot believe how great this books was! I was laughing, I was bawling, I was all over the freaking emotional map on this one. I found the book much better thought out than other books in the series. It didn’t jump around too much and had you scratching your head in confusion trying to find out what is going on like I find myself in most of her books. Im officially in a book daze where nothing can compare right now! Amazing!

This was amazing! Seems like the later books are just so much better than the first books! Rider and Jo were so fabulous together. He was such a clown, despite his penchant for tons of sex, you couldn't help but like him. He was very sweet and caring when he showed that side of himself.I feel like the men were so much more playful in this book, their antics and friendly banter made for a very pleasurable read. If I have to be honest, my favorite scene in this book was the third epilogue. While it was so sad, it was also a very beautiful ending for Jo and Rider. I teared up a bit, it was just a very emotional ending. After reading this entire series, you feel so connected to these bikers that it your mind they are invincible and live forever...such a bittersweet reality when you realize that's not the case.. Overall this was worth the wait... SR

This one is not my favorite, but I still loved it. I had trouble coming to terms with prologue 2. And i was not crazy about the no marriage part. It made it feel uncompleted. The rest was great! Worth the money and the time.

I hope this is not the last we see of the Last Riders. I so love them and their other half's. So much happened in thus book, I don't know what to write. I cried at the end. Jo and Rider had an endless love for each other and I hope we see more of all the last riders and the next generation to come. Jaime Begley this book rocks. Thank for giving us a book that did the last riders proud. And gave us a little bit more of each of the whole gang, that we love. This might be my favorite book to read again and again, it right up there with Luckys, Razors,Vipers.

Jamie has done it again, my emotions were all over the place. I laughed, cried, and had a couple of Oh no you didn't moments. That is what makes a Fabulous book! She kills me with the epilogue, I was crying like a baby just like I did with Shade. Now hmph, who do I hope is next, not sure Dustin, Gavin, Moon or some others. Whoever she picks I know she will not disappoint. This is a series that I constantly reread. Just got finished with re-reading all of them before Rider's release. Can't wait for the next one, hope it won't be long!

Wow! Once you start reading you won't want to put it down. It a perfectly written story for Rider and Jo. It had great characters and a story line that had just the right mix of all the elements a book needs to make it a wonderful read.

Another gem by Jamie! I LOVE the whole Last Riders, Predators, Porters, Blue Horseman world. I have read thousands of books but this whole biker world is the one I wish and like to imagine is real. No and rider are amazing together. And like the rest of the series you never get only what you see. Always so thrilling and never lacking in depth. I can't wait for Gavin to find the one who will bring him back to life. I'm also praying for the next generation to get their stories told.

Throughout all the books, we already knew that Rider was more than he showed, that the real person was hidden. That the figure of the manwhore, shallow person was a disguise to the outside, not its true face. I just did not expect it to be MUCH more. In my opinion, he is the most complex character presented so far. I was introduced to so many layers and so many personalities, that unraveling what was true was a surreal experience for me. The great star of his book was himself. His inability to love and his pretense made me want to say some truths in his face as much as I wanted to hug him. How difficult his journey was until he realized that his heart existed, he just did not hear it. His great secret revealed in parts, catch me, I devoured the pages for answers. I did not expect any of them. As I had not expected the cowboy so talked about and sought throughout the other books, this time was hidden right in our face. What a scene that was. I laugh a lot imagining Shade's face. Jo was a big surprise and a protagonist the height of Rider. She has gone through so much in life that it is impossible not to sympathize with the girl. The situation that throws her in his arms despite the fact that at first I was angry with her, I came to understand that she really had no escape. She was a strong character, who knew how to impose himself from the beginning, who not putting up with others bullshit. I was glad that it ran away from the theme we saw in the other books, where the female characters end up getting hurt because of "the club's recreational activities." Here she was not thrown into the dark, she knew what she was dealing with. One impression I have always had and I have now been able to prove was that although they preach that they are all adults and know the rules, women club members have never exercised these sexual interactions as simply sex. They got involved, they have feelings, although they want to preach that it has no involvement. Bliss was a problem in the past and now in this book so as Jewel. To those who claimed to be so liberal, I did not understand her attacks and the sudden crush on Rider. The plot is interesting, the whole question of Jo fooling him, and he discovering and turning the game trap the reader, I was anxiously awaiting the next steps in this game. As always, we have the participation of the other characters (I need my Shade fix), which is very good, because we can see them again and get to know new facts. The twists were startling and the antagonists were convincing. As announced by Jamie Begley herself, this was her best book. I agree irrevocably with that statement. Rider was very well written, filled in the gaps that were blank, kept the flow of the series and managed to develop majestically. Now I was not ready for the epilogues. The first two were normal, laughs a lot at the first. Who would have thought the person to play with Shade would be Jo. Now the third epilogue has destroyed me. Jamie even warned, and I should have listened. What was that, My God !.I cried horrors by reading the epilogue and then when I finished. I'm kind of anesthetized by now. I did not expect my reaction, I'm in a literary hangover, but I loved reading. It was worth the bittersweet feeling that woke me up. Rider is a legend. And deserved to have his story told. And what a beautiful story that was.

I read some of the other reviews and thought it was impossible that the epilogue to this book was more bittersweet than Shade but I was proven wrong.

Im i the only person disappointed? I had such expectations for Rider's story and it just fell flat. He was supposed to be the wildest and to me he was maybethe tamest Last Rider. As each character comes to life they all are tamer. She needs to have more of the club members from the Ohio branch more involved to keep the stories as fun as Viper's, Shade and Knox's stories were. Still can't wait for Gavins story.
