As someone who knows very little about guns, but has shot a handgun at a range before, I found this guide to be really helpful in understanding care and use of rifles. The most important thing to know about guns is how to handle them safely and this book does just that with rifles. Whether or not gun control comes around, the fact is that guns exist and the best way to handle them is with knowledge. The editors over at Field and Stream did a great job giving the readers a small guide with illustrations and a good overview of how to understand rifles, from shooting them to caring for them to buying them correctly.
