Adam has had his heart ripped out before. But there's nothing he and Lindsay haven't been able to overcome. Nothing that could tear them apart... until now.

After nine years of being back on the competition circuit, Adam is at the top of his game in the surf world. But troubles at home have forced him to consider retiring earlier than expected.

With the possibility of a final competition in his future, the pressure is on Adam to perform; to leave on a high note. Long hours practicing at the beach and weeks away from his family at exotic locations only causes more turmoil between him and Lindsay. Until finally, the stress reaches a boiling point and someone gets burned.

Adam is back on top of the surfing world and loving his life with Lindsay and their adorable girls. As the pressure from staying on top mounts, Adam and Lindsay get some unexpected news. Life is changing and now he is contemplating stepping away from the sport that he loves for family. With each new competition, things seem to get more out of Adam's control as their relationship is tested again. Ripped is Adam's story as he is at another crossroads in terms of surfing and family. Ripped could be read as a standalone, but it will make more sense when read as a part of the Shattered Hearts series. Cassia Leo delivered drama, angst, heat, jealousy, and family in a way that did justice for fans of Adam and the Shattered Hearts series. *I received a copy in exchanged for an honest review. 4.5 stars

More Adam!! I have always been Team Adam even I did love all the other characters. I was so surprised by this book. When I saw, I jumped up and down. Adam and Lindsey still had a lot to figure out in their relationship and there is still angst and love and of course Adam's famous jokes will give you laughs through out the book. This is a great addition to the Shattered Heart series. I could not recommend it more. Love love love

Reminiscing at its best! I was so surprised to see this new release, and the fact that it was Adam's story brought back so many feels. Since it has been awhile, we first met Adam in Relentless. I had read Relentess as the first in the series, so for me, Cassia Leo is able to bring me back to a first love. In Ripped, it has been 9 years since he started surfing competitively again, and he is in the running to be number 1. Along with that feat, he also has Lindsay, and a family to consider when making decisions. I love that with Ripped, we see peeks of the Adam we know and love, he is still headstrong and persistent, but we get to see a new side of him as well. He can be the loving, caring family man, but will another love get in the way of his future? Ms. Leo weaves a tale of love, friendship, and decision-making. You see Adam grow from a simply a grown-up to a grown-man. Ripped is a pleasure read that leaves you wanting to re-read the entire series again.

There are no words to describe how elated I was to see this book was written. I was #TeamAdam from day one. I was crushed when Claire and Adam ended. However, I grew to realize it was the right thing and couldn't be more happy with the direction their lives went. I was only saddened by the lose of Adam in the story line. I've been waiting for this book and hoped and prayed it would make it to my greedy little hands one day. My heart was so happy to have another taste of Adam and all his corny jokes and to hear about what kind of husband and dad he became. Although he had his issues(we all do) he was such a loving and kind man. I'm so happy to finally read his story but so sad it's over already. I love you Adam!!!! #TeamAdam&Lindsey and #TeamChris&Claire I feel complete now. :-)
