This book is 240ish pgs. Okay, but a little predictable at times, also can get confusing when going back into past memories. Needs a lot of editing. ***spoiler a lot of things didn't make sense. The mayor had a lot of people to manipulate. Vampires either feel certain things or they don't, don't understand why any human willingly helping a vampire wouldn't be killed, that rule doesn't make any sense. Why were the vampires nice to the rife when they didn't care about human life, that didn't make sense, you could just replace them. The reader has to assume bc Lucy was a witch the blood effected her differently?? Still not sure why the vampire hunters didn't just kill her even though she was crying. Anyway loose ends need to be wrapped up and better explanations, also the sex stuff wasn't needed.
