This was an amusing tale about arch-rivals out to get each other. I started the series in the wrong order, though. This one made more sense after I started The Worker Prince. Rivalry on a Sky Course seems to assume the reader knows the folks. I felt a little info-deprived at first. I caught on, though, and enjoyed reading about Bordox and Davi getting on each others' nerves.
Sets up the prehistory of the rivalry between Davi Rhii and Bordox which plays out in the novel series.
