I loved this book, it was full of suspense to the end. I couldn't put this book down and can't wait to read the next one.

Exciting story about Drew and Sarah but also great subplot about Clay and Libby. Can' wait to read more about them in The Next Mrs Blackstone

This is the 5th book in the series. It is Drew Dewitt's story. It takes place in WY, which was different from all the other books. Drew goes to Jackson Hole to figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his life and to nurse his broken heart. He meets Sarah the local sheriff and they have instant chemistry. Clay Blackthorn's first love lives in Jackson Hole and they share a child. Their child Kate goes missing with brings Clay to Jackson Hole to help with the search. It is very obvious that the chemistry between Libby and Clay is still there. This book has you cheering them on. The book takes many twist and turns and kept me reading all night long till I had the book read. Blackjack who is my overall favorite makes his appearance with Ren and his presence in this story to find his grand daughter is touching and his character is commanding which I love. Ren is always there to keep him in line. Kate is rescued but the story of Clay, Libby and Kate are not resolved. The next book is Clay's story, so I will be reading on Loving This Series!

This is definitely one of Joan's best! It had great mystery and suspense that weaved through the longings and passions of Sarah and Drew and even Libby and Clay. I found no part in the book that dragged on long and ended up reading until I was done. I just had to know who did what and what happened next. And, as always, the Blackthornes and their stubborn audacity is one of my favorite things about many of Joan Johnston's books. I can't wait for Clay's story next.

The book keeps you in suspense the whole way through, it involves love lost mystery and crime. Joan has a hit with this book and cannot wait to read the next in the series.
