Captivating and enigmatic, Kwame is more than another mere mortal, and he's just beginning to understand the nature of the special sense that helps him track down missing persons. Gwen can help him reach his full potential, but can she trust a man who was hired by the monster hunters to track her down?

River Spell may be my favorite of the SEG series. Gwen is living in exile from her family and nursing a broken soul after a wicked betrayal. Kwame is dealing with some powers he doesn't really understand. They wind up on opposite sides of the same search, unsure if they can trust each other even when they have to. Gwen is so real that you'll feel you know her in spite of her fins. And Kwame is just fun to get to know as he gets to know things about himself he had no idea of. This story will move you, so grab a kleenex and a glass of wine and curl up with this one next chance you get.
