You do not have to be a hundred years old, or have experienced a lifetime of sorrows, or have some kind of old soul to write poetry. Poetry/prose comes from sources beyond our scenses, from hidden places within us, that demand expression. The gift comes and grasp thought contained within 'Roads and Reminicenses' does not come from fame and popularity. They come from the heart of a child, grown far beyond her years. How rich the tapestry woven from the mind of this young innocent warrior. She has a gift. One that begs expression. No finer words of Martin Luther King have ever been framed. No observation of family, friends and life could be richer in her spoken word. So the blend of mother and daughter combine to paint a picture of 'Roads and Reminiscences' and invite us to travel with them in our hearts.
