So very HAPPY to finally get this awesome love story of Rock Chick Daisy, and her Hot Guy Marcus Sloane. I could not have wished for a better back story for them. Raading this was a REAWAKENING of my LOVE for the ROCK CHICK SERIES!
Must have more ROCK CHICK stories!!! I am begging you, Kristen Ashley, please consider a spin off the children of the Rock Chicks and their HOT GUYS! Please!! You could call it "ROCK CHICKLETS"... or any name you choose! I'll definitely read it!

I have always thought Daisy and Marcus story should be told. So glad it was. Rock Chick's Rule!!!!!! I will not put this in my archive but read it again and again just as I do for the other Rock Chicks.

This is what I come to KA for! Love that she's come back to her roots not only with a prequel to the series that brought me to her work in the first place, but with a H that is classic KA alpha! Doesn't get any better than that!

This was amazing! The prologue pretty much wrecked me and then I was lost to the story, absorbing every detail. It just got better and better, so many awesome details and connections. I am thrilled with how it all played out.
I’m not sure who I love more, Marcus or Daisy. I've always liked Daisy and knew the gist of her story from the Rock Chick series but learning the nitty gritty and getting her history really made everything click and I fell completely in love with this woman. Learning her back story was a real eye opener to who she became. There were just so many great things and moments that had me smiling and choking up as well. I loved seeing Daisy's amazing personality, her strength and perseverance. Now for Marcus. Holy wow Marcus! He might be in the running for sweetest man alive. Talk about making me melt! I loved this little dance they were doing with Marcus’s pursuit of Daisy and her trying to dissuade him. It was such a sweet romance as he woo'd her. All these things he did for her, how he was there for her and was her champion, it was beautiful. I really liked getting to know him as well, his history and how he became the man he is was enlightening. I've always been curious about him since he was introduced in the series and am so happy with all I learned.
My heart feels full after reading this. By the time the epilogue came around, I was a crying mess. KA writes some of the best epilogues and this one packed a punch. There were so many tie-ins introducing characters that were in the series. There were so many character connections happening that thrilled me. And Smithie! That man is the bomb! Just to add, I did read this story after reading the first eight in the series so I knew who everyone was and I loved getting a glimpse of other characters from the series before their stories took place.
The story itself was amazing with a wonderful build and great details. It was sweet for sure, a lot of times fun, heartfelt definitely, but there was just all this emotion happening that I couldn't contain. I simply loved it. I'm a huge fan of the series and this is like icing on the cake.
