About the Author

Michelle Mankin is the New York Times bestselling author of the Black Cat Records series of novels.
Rock Stars & Romance. Love & Lyrical Ever Afters.
Love Evolution, Love Revolution, and Love Resolution are a BRUTAL STRENGTH centered trilogy, combining the plot underpinnings of Shakespeare with the drama, excitement, and indisputable sexiness of the rock 'n roll industry.
Things take a bit of an edgier, once upon a time turn with the TEMPEST series. These pierced, tatted, and troubled Seattle rockers are young and on the cusp of making it big, but with serious obstacles to overcome that may prevent them from ever getting there.
Rock stars, myths, and legends collide with paranormal romance in a totally mesmerizing way in the MAGIC series.
Catch the perfect wave with irresistible surfers in the ROCK STARS, SURF AND SECOND CHANCES series.
Romance and self-discovery, the FINDING ME series is a Tempest spin off with a more experienced but familiar cast of characters.
Exploring the sexual double standards for women, the ROCK F*CK CLUB series is a what-if the groupies called the shots instead of the rock stars.
When Michelle is not prowling the streets of her Texas town listening to her rock or NOLA funk music much too loud, she is putting her daydreams down on paper or traveling the world with her family and friends, sometimes for real, and sometimes just for pretend.

OOOH that Michelle Mankin pulls a sly one on all of us. Not to mention one Raven Winters and her bestie Marsha West! This novella is fast-paced and picks up where we left off in Rock F Club, Book 1. Raven is still very happy with Lucky Spencer but the cost of their popularity on social media and beyond may threaten their romance. I was completely caught up in their love and the craziness that ensues. Add on top of it all the swarmy Suzanne Smith, who is out to pull all the strings where Raven is concerned and you have one helluva wild time. The ending had my jaw dropping and wondering just where this story will take us in book 3. Really well done and full of surprises, I happily give Rock F Club: A Postseason One Novella a solid 5 stars. Bring on Season Two!

I discovered RFC and Michelle Mankin a few months ago, I love rock star books and so I found the RFC world. This second book was everything and way more than I thought I would get, Raven and Lucky find themselves finding a way to overcome challenges in their relationship. The rock life isn’t easy. I liked how the author made it realistic, from the characters to the plot, it’s very enjoyable to read, I did the book in one sitting. The passion between the characters was amazing. I really liked getting to know Raven story. This is a novella but definitely a way to see about all RFC characters and is so hot!

I really enjoyed the first book, and you can read my review of it HERE, if you don't want to be spoiled for the story. This one doesn't get quite as wild and dirty as the first one, but that is because it is kind of an in-between story. It's kind of the wrap-up for the whole RFC as proposed and carried out in book 1. What I really liked about it was that we got to see a lot of the love between Winter and Lucky. The settled relationship. But that doesn't mean there isn't any conflict. No sirree. Willow and Lucky have to deal with how the producers of the show don't like how she kind of slid under the whole sex with different guys once she decided she was going to be with Lucky because she loved him. So she has to agree to re-film a few scenes. And then of course there is Lucky's sister and his bandmate Rocky's interactions. You can't help but root for them so much! And now I'm just ready to read the next book, so that I can find out how season 2 will go for Raven's best friend Marsha. Definitely a great addition to the series, a good catch up to get ready for the next one. I'll be reading it soon!

***4 Stars*** This was a nice little slice of life type of novella that falls between the last chapter of Rock F*ck Club and the epilogue that gives us a peek into some of the struggles Raven, Lucky, Marsha and the rest of the Dragons crew had to deal with due to their new found fame and the responsibilities that come with it all. It was fun to experience what Lucky and Raven had to do deal with as they worked to not only cement their personal relationship, but their careers and how they worked through it all to come out stronger in the end. But I also loved seeing how all of the crazy affect Alec, Cody, Rocky and Sky as well as getting a good idea of the issues that may be popping up in the next season of RFC (especially after THAT ending) with Marsha at the helm! ~ Copy provided by the author & voluntarily reviewed ~

RFC#2 will immediately immerse you into the fun yet very intense world of Raven Winters and her mission with rockstars. The life on the road takes its toll on Raven and she has to make some big decisions on her relationships and career goals. This book takes women empowerment to the next level, its super fun and edgy at the same time. Read this book i promise you you will be entertained! --5 big great big stars!

Hot and Bothered! That's what this gem of a novella left me feeling. The release of #RFC #2 was a very delightful surprise! Sure I'd hoped for a continuation of the series, but this novella, well it just left me feeling the *shivers*. This part of Ravens' and Luckys' story picks up right at the end of #RFC one (prior to the epilogue), and drops back into life on the road with the Dragons. A new couple, Raven and Lucky are in deeeeeep and face many challenges ahead, separately and together. One challenge they do not face is the ever growing desire for each other. Their connection is strong, sultry, and utterly scintillating. You will liely find the need for a fan to cool yourself down (or maybe not a *fan*) because this story contains some of the sexiest scenes between them. Michelle's writing is simply poetic and incites all sorts of romantic notions: "Blue, blue, a vast expanse of limitless blue filled my vision as his mouth hovered a breath away from mine. I closed my eyes as he closed his. We were so finely in sync, yet I was never fully prepared for the devastating onslaught that even just a light touch from his lush lips wrought." Heavy SIGH and more of those *shivers* So I've explained the HOT but what about the BOTHERED? The end, that left me bothered, the very last lines put me on edge. But leading up to that BOMB, well Ravens' past may be showing up to haunt her as she's pushed into a new role in the #RFC movement that she created. It also appears there's a new threat on the horizon and I fear Lucky's uber Alpha side is about hit an all time high as the man protects all he loves...Guess we'll find out how in #RFC #3 which releases in September. I absolutely LOVE this series and I HIGHLY recommend it!!

*4.5 Stars* This novella - and it's meaty so it doesn't feel like a novella - is a treat! Getting to see Raven and Lucky and how they're faring was a delight. And we also got a glimpse of where RFC is going from here and that was exciting! The novella revolves around Raven and Lucky, of course. Seeing how they're working at maintaining their relationship, dealing with their newfound fame, the fallout over RFC, etc., felt realistic and genuine. I liked that it wasn't all hearts and roses because part of their relationship had been that way so I appreciated Mankin keeping it real. Lucky being the lead singer of a band with mounting popularity and, therefore touring more meant fans and being on the road were issues...also real. And being a fan of character growth, I was thrilled to see both Lucky and Raven - especially Raven - do some growing. The other plot threads - RFC's next season, Raven and Marsha's friendship, and the relationships of Lucky's band mates were all compelling and kept me flipping through the pages. I especially enjoyed Marsha's growing friendship with Lucky's sister, Sky, and it further developed Marsha's character. I'm excited about the direction Mankin seems to be taking with things. That ending! WOW!! It was a shocker and I am more than happy RFC #3 releases soon!

Unbelievable! When a book leaves you with your mouth hanging open in the end and has you re-reading the last line there isn’t much else to say. From the beginning until the end we got to see Raven and Lucky’s love story going through many up and downs like any couple…only such much more hotter!! Lol Definitely read book one in the Rock F*ck Club series and then get ready for this crazy good book. I cannot wait to see what unravels in Rock F*ck Club #3!!
