Rock My Bed by Michelle A. Valentine, Aletha George, Allen Steele

Everything always seems to fall into place for twenty-four-year-old Aubrey Jenson, except for when it comes to her luck with men. Bad boys always draw her in and crush her heart, and Black Falcon's lead guitarist, Riff, is no exception. After sharing a few wild nights together, she leaves him behind, knowing a guy like Riff isn't the relationship type. When she returns to New York, she tries to get the passion she felt in Riff's arms out of her head by dating Isaac, a successful representative at Center Stage Marketing. Just when she thinks she's forgotten Riff, she's forced to see him again when her best friend, Lanie, ropes her into being a bridesmaid for her upcoming wedding to Black Falcon front man, Noel. Sparks fly instantly between Aubrey and Riff when they're forced to reunite, and suddenly she finds herself caught between the man that's good for her and the one who completely rocks her in every way.

Good story, but lacking in character and full plot development. Zach was an open book, but what about Audrey? And that ending-not only was that illegal, I can't believe Audrey was just like 'Oh well!' I mean, now what? Move in with Zach? Start her own firm? She's not independently wealthy or groupie material. I just wished Audrey hadn't actually morphed from the wildcat to the kitten throughout the story. Pet names are cute, but they actually showed her demeanor throughout story. I mean, both her and Lanie just settle. And while I understood Lainey's decision, Audrey could've had it all. She could've been a kick ass female protag. And why wasn't there a meet with her conservative parents? That could've added tension and levity. Riff would've been hilarious meeting the rents.

I love a great story that shows real life.

Would have been lost if I hadn't read the first book. Then this one seemed thrown together and written by a different person or juvenile. Add the in the editing errors and you've lost me for the follow up books.

To say that I was eagerly anticipating reading Riff & Aubrey’s story would be the biggest understatement of the year.  After reading Rock The Heart and Rock The Band, I was a Black Falcon junkie in desperate need of her next hit.  I abso-freakin-lutely couldn’t wait to get my hands on Rock The Bed so that I could devour all the yummy goodness it contained within.  “I wish I could give you every part of me, but I’m so f***ing broken that I’m not sure where to start.” If you looked up the word man***** in the dictionary, you’d most likely find a picture of Riff as the definition.  Riff doesn’t do commitment or relationships; he feels that he is toxic to relationships and will always give others a reason to hate him.  He hides behind the anonymous sex and uses it as a crutch.  He is always in control and never allows anyone in, until he meets his Kitten. “I love you with every inch of my broken soul. I know it's a mess, but I'm giving you all the pieces, hoping you will make sense of it.” Aubrey has always been attracted to the bad boy, and every single time she’s been burned by them.  She wants to find the one person whom she can fall in love with and have that love returned.  Aubrey feels that in order to accomplish this, that she has to settle for the good guy.  Even though her heart is screaming not to, she decides to follow the logical choices and pick a ‘normal’ guy.  Then she meets Riff and decides maybe one last fling with the ultimate bad boy wouldn’t hurt... “When I found you, I found my heart, Kitten. You’re the one putting me back together. You make me feel alive.” The chemistry between Riff & Aubrey is 150% combustible making it explode off of the pages, and I LOVED every single minute of it.  Both of these characters are in extreme denial about their relationship and fight to the very end against the inevitable - their love.  Experiencing the transformation between these two was simply breathtaking.  Riff is still the bad a** tattooed ultimate rock star but now, he has the love of an equally kick-a** female.  For me, that makes him even better! Rock The Bed can be read as a standalone but, for the full impact of the story/series, make sure to read the first two installments that come before it.  Rock The Bed follows the same timeline as the first two books, just from Riff/Aubrey’s perspective.  I loved this aspect because it really helped shed light on the relationship between Riff & Noel; you see the hurt that the assumed betrayal had on their friendship from all sides.  The character and series development within this installment were superb, and I cannot wait to read more!  Michelle A. Valentine continues to WOW me with each book in the Black Falcon series.  She is a master at creating the ultimate rock stars that transcend from the page straight to our hearts.  This is a must read series for fans of the New Adult or Erotic Romance genre, and one that will continue to be a favorite of mine for many years to come!

ROCK MY BED was everything I had hoped it would be. After meeting Riff and Aubrey in Rock the Heart, I needed to know more about them. I fell in love with them, like I knew I would. I'm going to start with Riff. Riff, aka Zach, is truly a complex character. He's funny, cocky, wounded, and definitely sexy. In the first book we learn that Riff's past was rough, but we don't know the details until this book. His past plays a big part in how guarded he is with relationships. It's difficult for him to let people get too close. Aubrey tests his boundaries though. He's never met anyone like her and he's determined to have her. Sure, it starts off as a physical attraction, but after one night with her, he can't stop thinking about her. I loved Aubrey in the first book. It appeared that she was just in for a good time with Riff, and she was initially. She never expected that she would fall for him. He's exactly the kind of guy she's trying to avoid getting involved with. She's been hurt in the past by "bad" boys like Riff, so she has a hard time trusting that they could have something real. What I loved about them as a couple was that they were both so openly vulnerable with each other. It may seem like they played push and pull for a bit, but during that time they get to know each other. Watching them "catch feelings" and learn to trust in each other and their relationship was truly great. Then, there was the sexy. WOW! HOT! They are both passionate people, so naturally their sex scenes were pretty hot! Overall, I loved ROCK MY BED! Not only did I love getting to know Riff and Aubrey, but I loved that their story ran parallel to Noel and Lane's. I felt like I really started to get to know the group more in this book too. I'm super excited to read Trip and Tyke's books too! If you like sexy love stories about rockers, definitely check this series out! It's become a favorite of mine!

While its rehashing her first book from Riffs point of view, which got old, it was still good to see and read. Love the authors style and look forward to seeing her work on the twins books!

I loved this follow up to Rock the Band because it gave me a chance to see Lane and Noel again, but also because it let us see another side to bad boy, Riff. I loved his back story, and how Aubrey was able to help him find the love that he deserves. They are very sweet and steamy together and it was worth the wait to read their story! I love Ms Valentine's books and I hope the other members of the band will get their turn at finding love!

After reading the first two books in this series, Riff comes across as being a total jerk. This book is about Riff and Aubrey, with both of their pov's, which I really enjoyed reading. After reading about Riff and his past and why he is the way he is and how he really is towards Aubrey, Riff has really grown on me. I am pulling for him and Aubrey to work out all throughout this book. Because of his persona, he is too scared to admit to how he really feels about Aubrey and lets that come between them. Her attitude of protecting herself doesn't help the situation either. Another thing that I liked about this book and that I find out what happens to Noel and Lanie since the last book kind of left me hanging. I would have rated this book higher but the errors started driving me nuts, but otherwise I really liked the storyline and characters.

I great roller coaster ride between Riff and Aubrey. Can the lone bad boy find true love or will his past and self doubt prevent the HEA he deserves? Lead guitarists seem to bring a lot of angst in books, and Riff is no different. The man hands out golden tickets to groupies for sex for crying out loud. Aubrey does have the hots for him, but she has a career and won't let him get away with his antics. She actually gives the ticket back. (I loved that in her.) I really liked their interaction through social media before the hooked up. The issues each has are genuine and very realistic. The way they connect and break through their barriers is an inspiration. I highly recommend this series.

Awesome Book!!! This is the second book in the series, and it is just as good as the first book. This book can be read as a stand alone, but it is so much better to read the whole series in order. This is Riff and Aubrey's story. We met them in the first book and I am so glad that they got their own story. I love the chemistry between them. Riff is the bad boy rocker, and Aubrey is only attracted to bad boy's because she is afraid of commitments. Riff also has emotional issues where he doesn't feel like he deserves to be loved. They both try and fight the growing attraction that is becoming way more then just hot sex. They fight their love every step of the way. I am love this series, and can't wait for more!

Wow! I really loved how Michelle Valentine intertwines the Black Falcon stories. As we get to experience Riff and Aubrey's story, we still get to peek in on Noel and Lanie. Riff, aka Zach, has a heart of gold but doesn't really know how to show it. Aubrey is trying to live up to her parents expectations but Zach blows her away and steals her heart and soul. The back and forth between the two is sexy and fun. There were several surprises ... what Aubrey knew about Lanie's job ... that shocked me. Really glad this series was recommended by so many book bloggers ... definitely worth the read!
