Well, the short lived popularity of most rock stars makes this book a little less interesting than I was hoping. There are a few interviewees, like Sammy Hagar and Nickelback, that are still around but even their interviews seem rather dated; i.e., I wonder what Chad Kroeger would say about life, success and God now that the band has "made it". Alice Cooper's interview is great and there are interesting insights found throughout the book but I can't offer a very glowing review. If you're a HM reader, then you'll find the style of the interviews familiar if not engaging and you'd have to acknowledge the guts that it took to do some of them (like Henry Rollins) - pick it up if you see it but I don't think you'll want to go too far out of your way to find it.
