3.5 out of 5 stars, Juilliard graduate Abby’s (Abigail/Ab) longtime goal is to be a part of the NY Philharmonic. Therefore when she gets the chance to audition she is beyond thrilled, but until then she needs a way to make money so her friend helps her get a gig to be a part of Point Break’s string section for the summer. That first night Abby meets Liam, who’s the lead singer of Point Break, and both of their future desires instantly change. Yet time will only tell if those changes will be for the better or not. Okay … I’ll be straight with you … I REALLY liked Liam and Abby, along with the other members of Point Break. It is ONLY because I liked the characters that I stuck with this novel because, without trying to give anything away, while the storyline might portray “insta romance” both Abby & Liam have reservations which in turn gets them to behaving badly. Badly enough that while some readers might feel Liam’s choices are fine, other readers might be disgruntled with the decisions Liam & Abby make. I was on the disgruntled side, I mean I get why Liam did what he did and though it wasn’t that bad I wish he hadn’t done it. I WISH what does happen wasn’t the big dilemma in this novel, though what happens gives this novel a more realistic feel to it. Nevertheless, as I already stated, I did really like Abby & Liam together. Though they seem to be opposites, they have many similarities that draws them together too. I was rooting for them from the beginning. Then with Liam’s punk cowboy-ness and Abby’s classy staunchness, I found them to be an odd match made in heaven. I do recommend this novel to those looking for a realistic-ish contemporary rockstar romance! Review By: From Me to You ... Book exchanged for an honest review~ Abby Chan thought all of her plans would move forward upon graduating from Julliard. Abby is solely focused on her goal with no room for errors. Getting a job as a cellist for a rock band called Point Break. Liam Collier is bored with partying and just wants to relax for the time being. Liam finds that he wants to spend time with Abby more and more much to his best friend Helen's dismay. Can Abby trust her feelings for Liam? Can Liam prove he's the man for Abby? Your answers await you in Say It Strong. Two different worlds collide yet rock strong in the end. The characters and story were spot on, compelling, complex, gritty, raw, real, and down to earth. I need to read more of this series in the future.

The Rock Candy series is off to a steamy start with Rock Strong. Bad boy rocker, Liam needs some taming. From his party ways to his dirty nights, the life of a rock star has proven to be just what he wants until Abby hits all the right notes to his heart. Abby has been on the fast track to living out her dreams. A musical genius with a tender heart does not belong in the provocative world of sex, rock n roll and temptation. Her head knows she's in over head but her feelings are too strong to let go. I received a copy of Rock Strong in exchange for an honest review. The heated exchanges lead to sultry glances that made for a sensually charged romantic getaway.

Second book in the series and I'm hooked! Liam is the young rocker heartthrob. Abbey is a classically trained celloist. When she takes a summer job in a rock band, their worlds collide and sparks fly. Can this couple put aside their differences and make their love work? You're going to have to read this book yourself to find out! All I can say is that this is one hot read!
