Awesome book! I loved the whole book, but the end crushed me. I wanted to cheer on Chelsea and wipe the smug look off of Asher's face both at the same time. Also wanted to hug him. He infuriated me at times. You could tell how much he had always loved her, but something held him back. Something made him run. You eventually find out what that is. Thank God for Tage - he is a savior. You will need a box of chocolates, a stash of tissues, and a full carton of ice cream to get over the end of this book. But, your heart will still ache, and it will most certainly still break. I bawled til I had a stomach ache, but it was so worth it. Then, I did what any sane (or obsessed) reader would do...I grabbed the sequel and started reading. ARC provided in exchange for honest review.

Rock’n Tapestries by Shari Copell 4 out of 5 Stars  So this review is going to be like having dessert before dinner, I'm going to tell you the ending before the beginning because I just can't get it out of my head.  Bittersweet, heart breaking, soul deep love can and does conquer all, but not always in the way we hope or plan.  Although it is all consuming and impossible to get over, sometimes we gain more by giving up and sometimes we give up only to realize the person we love is the only thing worth gaining in this entire universe. Copell wrote a fantastic story about Chelsea, a waitress and "Jill of all Trades" at Tapestries, a Pittsburg bar where up and coming bands fight for a spot to be highlighted on their stage.  One such band happens to contain a lead guitarist, Asher Pratt, not only is he every woman's fantasy, he is Chelsea's ex, cheating ex to be exact.  Years prior they had fell madly in love only to have him openly cheat on her and rip her heart out, now five years later she still hates him with her mind but loves him with all her heart.  Unusual circumstances cause Chelsea and Asher to reconnect much to her dissatisfaction, but it's an approach she's willing to take to finally free herself from the pain that fills her soul. When her plan starts to work, but things at Tapestries get chaotic, Chelsea is forced to throw her manager under the bus which pushes her and Asher to a new level again.  Will he stick around and be faithful this time or will the new manager at Tapestries be a welcome distraction? I would LOVE,LOVE,LOVE to tell you so much about this story, but I hate spoilers!  So all I will say is this, be prepared to run the gamut of feelings in this book.  I enjoyed Chelsea's snarky personality, her spunk, and tenderhearted honesty even if I couldn't always say her entire situation was "believable." (I.e. some of the plot choices)  I thought Asher had such an interesting character that was truly explained and fleshed out as the book progressed but I 100% agreed with Chelsea in the end.  I wanted to say EVERYTHING she said to him.  Tage was just a great, honorable, honest, good man and he is the only one I didn't feel any background info was given on, but I liked him a lot. My one complaint about the whole book would honestly be a single word choice Copell used for an incident at the bar.  She called a very obvious attempted rape a kidnapping attempt several times and then once said it was an attempted rape.  It really hit me wrong.  I'm honestly not even sure why other then it was either an editing mistake or an attempt to "soften" what she wrote after the fact.  Either way it just made me more and more annoyed every time I saw the mistake, then it is finally called what it was.  Please don't see this as a huge issue, I just wouldn't feel like I was being honest if I didn't throw this in here.  Other than this one thing, I was very pleased with the book and have every intention of reading Wild Angel, the sequel to Rock’n Tapestries! *A Complimentary Copy was given in Exchange for an honest review* Pepper, My Secret Book Spot

Total emotional wreck after this! First things first I want to thank the author for providing me with an ARC copy of this book to read for this tour. Secondly, it's taken me a couple of days to think of what to put due to the emotional wreck this left me as...... thank Shari :) Although I thought this book was fast paced, I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. Will there be a prequel as I would of loved to read about Chelsea & Asher from the beginning :) I loved the characters, Willow cracked me up at times. The story itself was ok :) some parts dragged but this didn't deter me from reading :) I read this quite quickly to be honest, I couldn't put the damn thing down! Having a figure in your life runaway and leave with out note or anything, then unexpectedly returning, can seriously mess you up, so I can understand Chelsea's pain and anger towards Asher! I laughed when I heard his full name "Asher Pratt" Ha!Ha! I though this was very fitting for a gut like him......playboy type all over! Yeah, so what if he's drop dead gorgeous, or a awesome singer in a band......who am I kidding, everyone including me clearly wanted to jump his bones! "She's my fire, the air that I breathe. My heart stopped in my chest. When I wanna give up, she makes me believe. I shivered, though I wasn't cold. I am ten feet tall with her by my side. Lovin' this girl is a wild ride"  What peeked my interest more, was the lovely, the kind hearted Tage ;) *sigh* Please can I have one for Christmas? This guy is a total rock to Chelsea, and she deserved better from the "Pratt" before :) "Just when the caterpillar thought life was over, it turned into a beautiful butterfly."  Be warned though!! Although there isn't any crying at this point, you will need your tissues at the ready as at about 60-70% of the book, it all goes downhill for Chelsea! Like seriously rock bottom. The crap hits the fan! And I'm still reeling from the aftershock of my emotions and i read this over a week ago! Definitely worth the read!
