I am a huge fan of Christine Feehan and I am always on the lookout for her books. So I feel like I've been let down by the publisher for rebranding a book I already own and by Barnes & Noble for not seeing that I already owned this book in my library. When I looked at the synopsis of the story that BN listed, there wasn't enough of the story line for me to recognize it. If the synopsis had listed just the character names would have been enough for me to remember that I already owned it. Shame on both the publisher and BN.

This might be a bit off the path for this author but as good backround in the who's , what, where's and the good hot couple with rough starts in life that has a touch of magic with that thread of hope, family, an isn't quite what others got yet still hope to fine I love her work before ereaders were here still love thw work's she brings to us would like more often but get what I can . Looking forward to next in Drake Sisters storyline or whatever she releases.

This is a rough story to read. It is a Christmas story, an abuse story and a mystery. I am used to Christine's Dark series that is a favorite of mine. This is a serious book but there is just enough Magic (spoiler) to satisfy the reader. Maia is a traveling veterinarian trying to save money. Cole is a man with a past who needs her to save an injured horse. He has a teen brother Jace who  is part of their mystery. Maia is a healer even if it is 2 men who also need help. This is a quick read that is very hard to walk away from. There are a lot of twists here. I hope you choose this book. Find out how this book ends. Enjoy!  I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

I also love Christine Feehan's books,. I gave this story a good rating, but would give business practices a very low rating. As I was reading this book supposedly published November 2014, I recognized specific descriptions and events. I know I have read this story before and it was a long time before this date. It should not be legal to give a story a new publishing date. It is sometimes very hard from the synopsis to realize this is a book you have already purchased and read. I don' t want to have to investigate every book I purchase in order to figure out if I have already read it under a different published date. This type of fraud needs to stop. All descriptions need to include the original published date!

This story has the true Christmas miracle, showing what love can do in a shattered life. The Steele brothers have such a fragile connection. Their lives are shadowed by the horrid abuse their father cast upon them. It is so touching, heartbreaking, to see them try to get to know each other, trust each other, learn to love. The connection between them is delicate and frail, but so full of understanding and support. Maia and Cole's romance burns hot, it is passionate, but also brittle, since they both feel unfit for love and commitment. I absolutely loved reading about them, the way they opened up to each other, and took the delicate steps towards each other. Cole, the confident alpha male, has found his true match, and together they are strong. The mystery of the accidents escalating, the incidents bringing intrigue and questions into the snowy ranch. Dark, edgy, but so sweet and romantic story, that will string your heart and stay with you for a long while ~ Five spoons

Wonderfully told story of the season

Christmastime is such a perfect time of the year, to be with family and friends. It is sad people in this book were brutalized so much it took away the magic and love of family. Of laughter and love. Of Christmas and reasons to celebrate and to give. I love how Christine found a way to incorporate the magic and love, twisted intrigue and fear. To me, this has a touch of her series Sisters of the Heart.

Magical! I know that is said about a lot of holiday books but it is definitely true about this one.  This book is perfectly balanced part dark, part light, a pinch of paranormal; mix in Christine Feehan’s magic touch and you have a heck of a holiday read without all the saccharine.  Fans of Christine Feehan’s Drake Sisters will adore this.

Title: Rocky Mountain Miracle Author: Christine Feehan Publisher: Gallery, Threshold, Pocket Books Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: 5 Review: "Rocky Mountain Miracle" by Christine Feehan Book Description.... "No Christmas will ever be the same after Cole and Maia meet on a snowy western ranch… Find out why in #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan’s romantic holiday e-novella! When Cole Steele, a womanizer rumored to have killed his father, meets Maia Armstrong, a veterinarian rumored to practice magic, the sizzling romance could melt all the snow on his Wyoming ranch. And when an injured horse brings them together, Cole can’t help but believe that Maia casts spells on animals—and men. What else could explain the burning passion he feels for her and the thawing of his heart just in time for Christmas?" What I liked about the novel.... This was one of those stories that once you start reading you will find it hard to put down. I found the story one that was rather a sad one but I will say it did have some lightness that would put a smile on your face as you are reading through the read. Yes, it was a romance but there was a lots more to this storyline. The author did a amazing job as she brings to life this story of Cole, his brother Jase and then there will be a healer in the form of a traveling veterinarian named Maia. We find from the read that the Steele brothers were in the need of much healing for these two guys. Why was that? Then here comes a lady with some very special gifts that will greatly help the two Steele brothers. In the end ... well this is where I will say I don't want to spoil it because I want you to pick up this good read to see for yourself how well this author brings it all out to the reader. This was definitely one of those reads that wasn't all a happy read. I did find it rough at times but as the read flows the reader will be ale to see just what all this author had in mind for the reader to be able to understand about life bringing out their lows, strengths as well as there support for each other. This read will include a paranormal (pet psychic) that was brought into the read that I found quite interesting and it was done so well in the flow of the read. Now, I want the reader to be aware that there will be child abuse issues that will be a very sensitive subject addressed. Also, there will be mysteries going on at this ranch that will have you guessing or trying to guess who was doing this? Yes, there is some hot steamy sex between....well I will let you read it for yourself to find out in the end all of the mysteries and seeing if there will be a happy ever after. Be ready for a little of it all...abuse, sorrow, hate, mysteries, twists, emotions, paranormal, humor, romance, and yes....in the end a new life for all. Would I recommend "Rocky Mountain Miracle?" YES!
