I definitely enjoyed this book, but it had very some sad and difficult subject matter as the background for our heroine!! The story really brings to life the despair that could be suffered if you found yourself at the mercy of evil people! But because of that, the story really grabs you and doesn't let go! I loved that they get their HEA!!

This is book 3 in the Rocky Mountain Brides series and can be read as a stand alone. As I have not read the first two books in the series, I did not experience any negative feelings toward our hero finding new love as some readers of the entire series did. I enjoyed this fresh take on a western love story as the heroine was tough and worked in a saloon. There is a good, exciting plot and interesting side characters, especially the hero's brother. I look forward to his story!

This is book three of the Rocky Mountain series. This story is about Rose and Lyle. We met Lyle in book two and Rose is Mary’s little sister. Lyle has been searching for Rose for 5 years. When he finds her, she is a dancer in saloons. He rescues her and they get married for her protection. But Rose doesn't trust him and she gets many severe punishments. They do have a HEA, but it is a convoluted journey. I like the story and I give it four stars.

Rose dances in a saloon. One night, after shooting a man, she is kidnapped. Her kidnapper is also the same man who stole her sister away, Lyle. He promised to care for her and protect her. While breaking down her walls, Lyle also has to impart wisdom in the form of many spanks to Rose's back side. Through all of her hatred and confusion, Rose falls for Lyle.

Loved it. This was a great 3rd book. If you have not read the others in the series thats ok. They can read toghteror as standalone. You will find the carachters in the book endearing and some you would love to hate. Pick up a copy you will enjoy.

Another cute story in this series about girls who meet and marry in the Old West. Rose is tough and jaded, and Lyle has a really difficult time breaking through to her and getting her to understand he loves her and is trying to protect her. Lots of action, constant efforts by Rose to escape, and by Lyle to tame Rose using spanking and other means. There was a quick ending that left me uncertain about whether she had really accepted Lyle as her husband and protector. My biggest concern with the book was that she was so incredibly stubborn, and some of her efforts to leave Lyle seemed so illogical.

I think this was my favorite of the series! I started reading and could not put it down until I finished it. My heart broke for Rose, she sure had some rough times in her life. Lyle was definitely her knight coming to her rescue and I really liked this side of him. The danger and suspense was top notch but sometimes, Rose was her own worst enemy. Great read!

This is the third book in the series and although it is not my favorite I did enjoy reading it. I had a little trouble believing that the romantic love between Rose and Lyle happened so quickly given the circumstances of their original relationship and found the ending to be very rushed but will read the next installment of this series because I did enjoy reading it and it kept my interest from beginning to end.

I adored this book. I loved Rocky Mountain Bride, too, but this one had such a feisty heroine and a delicious hero who refused to let her go, despite her attempts to run away at every turn. Savino is a top notch writer with beautiful prose and steaming hot sexy/spanking scenes. Give this book a try--you will NOT be disappointed!!

I have not read the first two books in the series, but it did not matter, for the book stands well on its own.Rose has had a tough life and doesn't take kindly to being taken in hand by the handsome and dominant Lyle Wilder. Lyle, however, is determined to care for Rose, despite her stubborn pride, which earns her several bare bottom spankings. She has had to be strong and independent, and struggles against Lyle's firm but loving control. He rescues her from a life as a saloon dancer and tries to convince her that she is worth loving. This is a passionate romance, with some well-described characters and a heartwarming story.
