As a person who must avoid wheat, diary and eggs, I found very few recipes I could use. Fat content is also very, very, VERY high. (In reading the vegetable section, I kept waiting for them to mention adding half a cup of cream or three tablespoons of butter or something - and more often than not they did!) The recipes were pretty much like those in any other cookbook, except that they use whole wheat flour intsead of white flour, and honey instead of sugar. People interested in cooking with honey may want to take a look at this book. But I think that whole wheat angel food cake is just not angel food cake anymore.
