ROMAN PILGRIMAGE is a thorough, comprehensive tour de force of the Churches built in Rome which are dedicated to the saints and martyrs of early Christianity. Whether the pilgrim tours during the Lenten season or not, this will prove to be an invaluable guide to these ancient sites, as it provides the original construction background as well as the saint’s history.
