However, Manuel resists all Yvette's energetic and persistent flirtations, much to Jane's happiness. And when she travels home for the Christmas holiday, she can't stop thinking about the romantic date they have planned for New Year's Eve. But when she gets a telegram from Manuel telling her that he has been "called away" and must break their date, she fears the worst.
Perhaps her heartbreak can be eased by the sudden arrival of her old boyfriend Donald?
