About the Author
Annette M. Hulefeld, DMin, LCSW, certified grief support specialist, has worked as a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist for over thirty-five years. She specializes in the treatment of depression and anxiety directly related to various forms of abuse, diminishment, and loss. She works with women, men, teens, and families.
After receiving her doctorate in ministry, she expanded her practice, working as a psycho-spiritual advisor, integrating psychological growth with native and mystical traditions, including intuitive tarot readings and dreamwork. Annette’s background in shamanism and initiations into indigenous healing rituals allow her to adeptly travel between the seen and unseen worlds, weaving Spirit and ancestral wisdom into every facet of ordinary life.
Annette has presented at dozens of conferences and workshops for over thirty years on topics ranging from near-death experience, shamanism, and the sacred feminine to dealing with grief and end-of-life. She has led local drum circles and healing rituals in the US, Egypt, Peru, and France.
She has dedicated herself to nearly fifty years of volunteer service in music and bereavement ministries, as well as ten years as a pastoral minister in her faith community.
Annette loves to sing, create inspiring cards, hang out with her beloved Frank, play card games filled with side-splitting laughter with her awesome family, and travel on vacations with her grandsons. Her heart smiles when walking by the ocean on a windy day.
