Roots of Peace, Seeds of Hope is a highly-praised book, recommended for young people, homeschooling parents and classroom teachers-all human beings eager to widen their understanding of true history. Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Jeanne K. Pettenati
In this small, thoughtful book the author tries to set straight the history of Native Americans before and after non-natives arrived on U.S. shores. She recounts Native American rituals, their daily connection with and respect for basic elements such as sun, water, and land. She tells readers that non-natives betrayed them over and over. These betrayals led to wars, fighting and a legacy of mistrust between the groups. The author laments the false portrayal of Native Americans in U.S. history books. She wrote this book in an attempt to educate non-native people and bring the groups closer together. She talks about stimulating a healing process in the volatile relationship that has endured over time and attaining peace, both for humans and for the earth.
