As always lorelei James doesn't disappoint, another great book in a great series. If you haven't read any of her work you are really missing out on some of the best books I have ever read especially if you like steamy romances with a western theme.

As is her style, Lorelei James crafts a story with characters we can believe in, with all the flaws and problems of real people and all the heat that you would expect in a Lorelei James western. Sutton Grant first appears in the Blacktop Cowboys book, TURN AND BURN as a secondary character who helps the heroine recover from an accident. Lorelei James admits that she loved the character of Sutton so much that she had to write more on him and ROPED IN was the result. The set-up is simple; cowboy needs a horse trainer to exercise his horse while recuperating from a serious injury, the trainer needs to impress upon her ex-boyfriend that she is over their breakup. The result is a fun and sexy romp through a month of playing “Let’s Pretend.” But as we all know in romance world, “Let’s Pretend” always leads to the real thing. Supporting characters are few a per novella protocol but add much to the story. I particularly enjoyed London’s mother, Berlin, in her scene at the end of the book. It’s the mother-daughter talk we all we could’ve had. Like her other westerns, the Blacktop Cowboys and her immensely successful Rough Riders series, ROPED IN is easy to read and enjoy with sass, heat and fun. She’s that good. So for a rainy, cold day at home or a hot day at the beach, ROPED IN is a great choice for a read.

The entire Black Top Cowboy series is one that return to aand re-read occasionally because I love these characters, their stories and of course the smokin' hot cowboys.  But more than that, I really appreciate strong female leads.  Roped In fits right in and I love this particular  romance!  Sutton is not like all the other cowboys we've met in the series, yet is just as amazing and lovable.  I loved reading through the  relationship ups and downs and the wonderful conclusion!   You need to read this addition to the BTC series!

I absolutely LOVE and trust everything Lorelei puts out. Her writing styles from her western/cowboy to her fighter/mma is remarkably different. However, amazing at the same time. It takes a brilliant writer to be so diverse in her styles.

What a fabulous story! Thanks, Lorelei James - you never disappoint!!!!! I completely enjoyed London's personality, and finding out just how much Sutton was NOT a 'saint'!

I loved this book. The instant chemistry between London and Sutton is hot! Lorelei has a way of making characters that are real and human and scenes so steamy you'll need a cold glass of ice water to cool down.
