Rose by Vanessa Vale

Montana Territory, 1885 - Chance knows exactly what Rose needs...and he's going to give it to her.

Rose Lenox has always been more comfortable on the back of a horse than wearing ribbons and bows. For years, she's been content working on the family ranch, but lately she's finding herself wanting more. She's determined to strike out on her own and find freedom from her unorthodox family.

Chance Goodman has watched Rose grow up from a spitfire little girl into a fiery woman. He's wanted her for years, waiting patiently until he could make her his. When she leaves the Lenox ranch determined to abandon her former life and to stay good-bye to him, he knows now is the time he must claim her. Letting her go isn't an option.

Panty melting! Rose is the first book in the Wildflower Bride series. It's is a wildly dirty romance with a feisty heroine and obsessed alpha cowboy determined to make her his.

About the Author

Vanessa Vale is the USA Today Bestselling author of over 30 books, sexy romance novels, including her popular Bridgewater historical romance series and hot contemporary romances featuring unapologetic bad boys who don't just fall in love, they fall hard. When she's not writing, Vanessa savors the insanity of raising two boys, is figuring out how many meals she can make with a pressure cooker, and teaches a pretty mean karate class. While she's not as skilled at social media as her kids, she loves to interact with readers.

Sometimes you read for information. Sometimes you read for fun. Sometimes you read to fill time. Sometimes you read for adventure. Sometimes you just read! I found that Rose's story was short but definitely not a cliffhanger. In one hour I read about Rose and Chance's romance. If you are offended by sex and talk of sex, you may want to skip this one because there is the story. If you're not offended, but curious, honeymooners' stories abound with sex, learning to trust, and finding out about your spouse! This is a honeymoon that is relived for the story.

After 23 pages I got disgusted with all the laving & throbbing. This may be for some that uses B.O.B. Will delete immediately. It really seemed like a good premise. Just an excuse for an adult stim book, not intended for the female brain.

I read the other reviews and was not expecting much but i found it very entertaining. A head strong young woman longs for a free life and ends up married to the hot neighbor after he rescues her. He finally makes her his after loving her for many years. They butt heads and both learn lessons about marriage needing compromise. Lots of descriptive sex so skip if its not your thing.

Good story but not for under 18 or those who prefer clean, no sex. Although the sex is between married couple, it may offend. They live HEA. ****vrnb****

I am one for a lusty novel but all the sex and language was to mu ch. I wish there was more of a good storyline than how Chase did Rose. Sorry but disappointed.

If you are wanting a sweet historical romance, then this is NOT the book for you. If you like books with hot, dirty sex then you will enjoy this. As the author quite clearly states in the blurb this book contains dirty sex and dominance! A great read, made better by the fact it is a free download. The characters were well written and believable with a plot very apt for the time it is set. Vanessa Vale is known for books full of dirty sex and menage, so if this is not your thing steer clear of all her books! I personally love them and I am looking forward to the next in the series.

I was not a fan of this book. It was based on a good story line but contained too much graphic sex for my taste.

Chance is a dom that forces rose to submit, he's controlling, she's reckless, there's sex every three pages, and more editing/typing errors than computer-ly possible.

Sex scenes were great, but the story was weak, characters undeveloped. Rose felt like a vapid, weak character. Was hoping for more of a plot.

GHASTLY! I didn't make it out of the first chapter. Not only was it weird & boring but it sounded like it was going to have graphic sex. (Someone thought it was cute to name all the characters after flowers but GEEZE! At least this piece of trash was free! I've no interest in the rest of the series based on this garbage.

No real story just sex. I think this was written by a man. No woman would put up with such crap or think thatvway.
