The name of the club shall be the Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club.

Jagger skidded his sleek Harley chopper to a stop as incandescent chunks of steel arced across the night sky. Clouds of black smoke engulfed the flaming skeleton of what had once been his clubhouse, now a crumbling beacon at the edge of town.

"Looks like someone wants a war." Zane, his Vice President and closest friend, dropped the engine of his V-Rod Muscle to idle and pulled his .38 Special double-action revolver from inside his cut, the leather vest bearing the three-piece patch that identified him as a member of the Sinner's Tribe Motorcycle Club. "I know my fires—and that one was accelerated. Hope our arsonist is still around."

Not likely with fifty angry MC brothers buzzing around the fire. Jagger parked his bike curbside, and stepped onto the paved lot that surrounded the burning building, converted from a run-down garage into the heart of his outlaw MC. He drew his own weapon, gripping the handle so hard, his knuckles blazed under the streetlight, burning as fiercely as the rage pumping through his veins.

"I'll find him and bring him to you." Zane's words were a small comfort for Jagger's pain. If the arsonist were stupid enough to stick around and watch the fireworks, he'd never get away alive—not with Zane on his tail. Lean and dark, with the sharpest eyes this side of Montana's Bridger Mountains, Zane was the best tracker in the MC, with the uncanny ability to hunt down even the most elusive prey.

Glass shattered and the flames roared higher into the air, fanned by the dry autumn breeze. The converted warehouse had been a second home for many of Jagger's biker brethren, and its senseless destruction stirred a protective fury in him. As president, Jagger was responsible for his MC brothers. Their pain was his pain. Their loss was his loss. And their revenge ... When it came, he would make sure it was the sweetest fucking revenge they'd ever tasted.

"Jag, over here, I found Gunner."

Jagger walked across the parking lot, following Wheels' voice through the thick, acrid smoke to the forest that bordered the east side of the clubhouse. He spotted the MC's newest prospect crouched under a tree, his golden-blond hair gleaming in the moonlight. The kid needed a haircut bad. Paired with that soft babyish face, the long fringe made Wheels look like a boy band singer instead of an MC pledge. Jagger already had doubts about whether the kid would survive the trials every prospect faced to prove worthy of wearing the Sinner's Tribe full-patch.

Propped up against the tree trunk, one leg stretched in front of him, Gunner grunted a greeting as Jagger squatted opposite Wheels. As a member of the MC's executive board, Gunner could have used his real name instead of the road name chosen by his brothers, but "Gunner" suited him so well he'd decided to keep it. A weapons expert, with detailed knowledge about the construction and use of almost every weapon legal or illegal, he never carried fewer than four guns at any time.

"Took one in the leg?" Jagger's field training kicked in as soon as he saw Gunner's blood-soaked jeans, and he tugged off his bandanna and twisted it into a makeshift bandage for his sergeant at arms.

"Just a flesh wound. Bullet tore the muscle when it grazed my calf. I've had worse. Just need a hand to my bike." Gunner took the bandanna and tied it around his leg. An inch taller than Jagger, and with a shaved head and pierced ear, Gunner was a slab of solid muscle with strength unmatched by any of the brothers in the club, making him a shoo-in for sergeant at arms at their biannual executive board elections. The man hadn't taken a bullet yet that could put him out of commission.

"What happened?" Jagger helped Gunner tighten the bandanna. Damn lucky. He'd seen men lose their legs from a bullet. Hell, he'd seen just about everything a bullet could do to a human body.

"We smelled smoke out back." Gunner bent his leg, testing his weight. "Cole went to investigate. I heard a coupla shots, so I ran out with a fucking AK-47. Couldn't find Cole, but I saw four guys in cuts in our yard—definitely bikers, but it was too dark to see their patches. One of them was carrying a gas can, and was pouring gasoline along the north wall of the clubhouse. Another was in the woods, and the other two were at the weapons shed unloading our new shipment of AKs into a truck."

"Fuck." Jagger scraped a hand through his hair. Could this night get any worse? Not only had they lost the clubhouse, they'd lost the weapons that would have cemented their new relationship with a powerful Mexican cartel who had been looking for an arms supplier in the northern states.

Dry leaves crackled under Gunner's hands as he tried to push himself up. "Yeah, I hear you, brother. And I did my fucking best to save those weapons. I headed into the trees, planning to come up behind the two at the shed. By that time, there was nothing I could do to save the clubhouse. The flames had already spread across the south and west walls. But damned if one of them heard me. He got me in the leg before I could get off a shot."

"They're gonna be dead twice over when we catch them." Wheels paled and checked himself when Jagger shot him a warning look.

"I mean you ... Jagger ... no ... the Sinners. And me ... I'll be doing what you tell me to do. For the club. Like always."

Jagger gritted his teeth against the urge to berate the hapless prospect, and gestured for Gunner to continue. Always enthusiastic and eager to please, Wheels had his strengths. Unfortunately, understanding the nuances of biker politics wasn't one of them.

With Jagger's help, Gunner stood, bearing most of his weight on his good leg. "The bastard near the clubhouse finished up with the gas can." He winced as he tried to take a step. "He was on his way to the truck when a dude on a piece-of-shit Kawasaki Ninja raced into the yard. I heard tires skidding, and then a crash near the weapons shed. I grabbed my gun and just fired blind in the direction of the noise. Then the truck blasted outta here."

Jagger sent Wheels to the shop to investigate, and then helped Gunner to his bike. The firefighters would be on their way soon, and the cops wouldn't be far behind. Although Jagger had the sheriff on his payroll, not all the local law enforcement were happy to have an outlaw MC in Conundrum. He had to get his men out of here.

Gunner's chromed-out Harley Softail Classic rumbled to life, and Jagger pulled Cade, the club treasurer, from the enraged crowd and told him to lead Gunner and the rest of the brothers to the club's emergency base, a run-down country house on the outskirts of town. From there, they would do a head count, reorganize, and start planning a counterstrike.

"Jag—Jag—Jag—" Wheels raced toward him, his pale face almost translucent in the semidarkness. "Half the weapons are gone, but they caught him. The guy on the Ninja. They're at the weapons shed. Zane's trying to stop Axle from shooting him in the head."

Fury coiled in his gut as he stalked toward the weapons shed, tucked away in a small copse of trees and far enough away from the heat of the flames that the remaining weapons weren't at risk. His ire wasn't directed just at the Ninja rider whose life he now held in his hands, but at that goddamned son-of-a-bitch, Axle.

He tensed, preparing for a battle that had been festering for over a year. After gaining the support of a small group of dissident brothers, Axle had made no effort to hide the fact that he wanted Jagger's position as president. The fact that he'd dared to draw his weapon on the arsonist, despite knowing Jagger was nearby, was a challenge to Jagger's authority, and even the legitimacy of Jagger's five year run as MC president.

Jagger rounded the corner of the small cinder block shed just as Axle wrenched himself away from an infuriated Zane. With a speed that belied his heavy frame, Axle vaulted across the pavement, skirted the fallen Kawasaki Ninja, and then ground to a halt beside a leather-clad figure sprawled unconscious on the cement.

"Bastard's gonna die." Axle pointed his .45 ACP semiautomatic Colt pistol at the motionless body and slid his finger through the trigger.

"Drop it." Rage tinted Jagger's vision red. "Now."

Axle didn't waver. Violent and vicious, with sharp features and dark eyes, he was a crack shot and always the first to draw his weapon in a fight. And although Jagger shared Axle's need for vengeance and retribution for the wrong done to the club, he couldn't in good conscience condone the execution of a man when there was, as yet, no evidence of his guilt.

"We have to make a statement." Axle's face twisted in a snarl, and he glanced over at the gathering crowd of angry bikers. "Everyone will expect it—our mother chapter, rival MCs, the Russians, the Mafia, the Mexican cartels, even the Triads. We do nothing, and they'll smell weakness. He's gotta pay a blood price for what he's done to our club, and I'm willing to collect it." He gave the unconscious biker a hard kick in the ribs, drawing murmurs of encouragement from the crowd.

Jagger cursed under his breath and holstered his weapon beneath his cut. He maintained his leadership position by using coercion and power to impose his will on his brothers. Drawing his weapon on Axle, as he was tempted to do, would suggest he could no longer control Axle by force of will alone—an admission of weakness that could cost him his presidency, even his life. He fisted his hand at his side and glared "My club. My call. If you shoot him, it'll be the last fucking thing you ever do."

Axle stood motionless above the fallen biker, sweat beading his brow as he toyed with his gun, no doubt weighing the chance to be the club hero against the very real possibility Jagger would make good his threat.

Jagger's pulse pounded out each second of delay. Axle had been a thorn in his side far too long, but until now, he'd been smart enough never to openly defy Jagger, preferring instead to skulk resentfully in the shadows, making underhanded attempts to erode Jagger's power base. Tonight, however, the emotionally charged situation was clearly an opportunity Axle couldn't pass up. He had finally shown his hand. But Jagger hadn't held the presidency for five years without knowing how to deal with snakes like Axle.

"Step away. I'll deal with him." Pointedly ignoring Axle's weapon, and without waiting for Axle's compliance, Jagger crouched down beside the unmoving figure. Small for a Ninja rider and thin ... almost delicate. He carefully rolled the unconscious biker to the side, and his fists convulsed with suppressed rage when he saw the Black Jacks MC patch, a jack from a deck of playing cards with a skull for a face.

Zane muttered a curse. Wheels let out a long, low whistle. Even Jagger startled. The Black Jacks and the Sinner's Tribe had been engaged in a feud over territory for years. But two years ago, the high death toll had drawn the attention of federal authorities and the national media, driving away the illicit underground black market that was the bread and butter of Montana's outlaw MC operations. In the interest of self-preservation, Jagger and the Black Jacks president, Viper, had called an uneasy truce. The Black Jacks took control of Montana's drug trade, and the Sinner's Tribe took over the more lucrative contracts in illegal arms trafficking. With both clubs claiming dominance of the state, the occasional skirmish was unavoidable. But for the most part, the truce had held.

Until now.

Axle cocked his gun and gestured at the two-piece patch on the fallen biker's cut. "He's wearing fucking Jacks colors. Outta my way, Jagger. The feud is back on."

"He's not a full-patch brother." Wheels shot Axle a pleading look and then slid his gaze to Jagger. "He's missing the bottom rocker. He might only be a prospect doing what he was told to do. You can't just kill him." Wheels edged closer to the fallen biker. "We don't even know if he's the one who set the fire."

"We can do whatever the fuck we want." Axle shot Wheels an irritated glance. "The Sinners are one-percenters. You know what that means, prospect? It means we're the one percent of bikers who don't follow fucking civilian law. We make our own rules, follow our own codes, and administer our own justice. And the penalty for burning down our clubhouse is death."

Jagger pushed himself to his feet, taking advantage of his six-foot-two-inch frame as he loomed over Axle. "Last I heard, I was the president of the Sinner's Tribe. That means administering justice is my call. And after talking to Gunner, I'm not convinced the Ninja rider is the man who torched our clubhouse."

Axle's face lit with bitter triumph, and he offered his weapon to Jagger, an insulting gesture, since he knew Jagger was carrying a gun. "Doesn't matter. He's a Black Jack. In a matter of honor, one Jack is as good as the next. So do your duty. Give us justice. Revenge. Show us what you're made of, Oh great leader."

Jagger took the offered weapon, removed the magazine, then stepped forward and smashed the butt of the gun into Axle's head. Axle dropped to his knees, then slumped on the ground.

"Zane, he's yours for tonight." Jagger's voice cracked through the silence. "But make sure he's fit to attend the executive board meeting in the morning to answer for his disrespect." He tossed Axle's gun to Zane and glowered at the crowd. "Anyone else got a problem?"

Without waiting for a response, he bent down and removed the fallen biker's helmet. Long, dark hair spilled over the pavement in a silken wave.

"Well, damn." Zane exhaled his words in a shocked whisper. "He's a she. We've been disrespected by a fucking girl."

No, not a girl. A woman. An angel. From Black Jack hell.

Jagger pressed his fingers to her neck, feeling for a pulse beneath her soft, cool skin. She moaned and her eyes fluttered open, startling him with an emerald-green brilliance like nothing he had ever seen before.

For an instant he couldn't speak, and then her thick, dark lashes drifted over creamy cheeks and her head drooped to the side. Beneath the pads of his fingers, her pulse beat steady but faint. Reassured, he removed his hand. Only then did he see her injuries—long, thick, finger-shaped bruises around her neck.

With a light touch, he traced along the fine line of her jaw. Mottled black-and-blue marks extended from her temple to her chin. His eyes slid to the helmet and then back to her pale face. Definitely not injuries from the accident. For some reason he couldn't name, he wanted to hunt down whoever had hurt her and pound him into the ground.

Ironic, really, since he might have to kill her.

Club first. Club only. Club always.

The dream was always the same: soft bed, dim light, fluffy pink duvet, homework on her desk.

Leo on top of her.

Screams and shouting. Her arms pinned. His hand yanking down her jeans. Her thrashing on the bed, a wail escaping her lips.

"Wake up." A rough hand stroked her cheek and wiped away a tear.

Arianne's eyes fluttered open and she squinted to adjust to the dim light, trying to make sense of her surroundings.

She tried to push herself up and then fell back on the pillow when her stomach heaved.

"Don't move."

Panicked, Arianne froze and peered in the direction of the deep, rich voice. She blinked to clear her vision and he came into view, leaning back on the chair beside her bed, long legs stretched out in front of him, thick arms covered with tats and folded over a massive chest. Under his cut, a Harley-Davidson T-shirt stretched taut over toned pecs and a washboard stomach. Black jeans hugged his narrow hips, and thick dark hair brushed the top of his wide shoulders. Rough and weathered, he sported at least a day's worth of beard over his square jaw.

His sheer presence drew her in. No. Not presence. Power. Raw and untamed.

"Who are you?" Her voice wavered despite her best efforts to slow her pounding heart. Running and screaming would do her little good if she knew nothing about her situation.

"Jagger?" The name was familiar, but with her brain still fuzzy she couldn't place him. In fact, she couldn't place anything. Not even herself. She forced her mind backward, trying to pinpoint her last memory.

"Maybe this will help."

He removed his cut and spun it around, holding it up to give her a good view of the back. She recognized the three-piece patch at once: a winged skull set above flames, with two stars on either side and two curved rockers above and below, proclaiming the name of his club and the chapter.

The story was pretty good. Some of the biker slang I needed to look up. I mostly didliked the way the chapters would abruptly end and then the next chapters would be kind of back tracking and the main characters would repeat themselves serveral times threw out the book started to get a little boring half way threw. I was able to put it down a couple of times and pick it up a few days later hopefully next installment is a better.

Sarah Castille brings to her readers a new and hot series...the Sinners MC, now I have read quite a few biker romances, and I LOVED it! Oh my goodness, does this author have me hooked. This is the first book which just came out a few days ago, and for what the story is, its at a great deal on both Amazon and B&N. I think this is going to have to be ranked at the top of the list of MC romances. There was something about this story that just sang to me. I don't even know what exactly it was but this pair was wonderful and they really were so good for each other. When it comes to MC romance, you never know what to expect or what you are going to get. It definitely can be harsh or tender or a mix of both? Well Ladies, this story has some harsh qualities that come with the MC life, but it has a more gentle and sensual tone to it. It begins with a building exploding, a death of Jagger's brethren, and one enemy lying on the ground. Jagger is a true leader, and I love his self control over his men and maintaing order..when we all know how how that can be in these clubs. You can see how much his men respect him. His word is law, and his word is to save Arianne until they get all the facts. Arianne wakes up injured and at the mercy of Jagger Knight. This is the last place that Arianne wants to be, she would rather have her passport in hand and heading up north to o Canada to make a fresh start. But Arianne isn't any simpering miss. She grew up with a harsh and mean father, who raised her to be tough. She is smart and full of grit. She has experienced hell and is looking for some paradise. She just never expects to find it with Jagger. At first she is determined to get away and escape. But Jagger is sexy, powerful and can a woman resist? Well Arianne makes a good go at it, but she can't resist the connection they have. Jagger, is afraid of letting Arianne in too much, because he had a old lady, and lost her because he was President. And refuses to put another woman at risk. But Arianne is his match in every way, she is passionate and talented, but knows how to handle herself in a fight, and can shoot and will defend those she loves. One hell of a woman in his mind. I loved both of these characters...they are fighters and lovers and they definitely have some steamy action that goes on. Boy can they make some explosions of their own. But at the same time we see a development of a real relationship...of building trust and love. Rough Justice is a great start of a series that I am sure is going to be whopping awesome. A story of hot scenes, in depth characters, and a love story that will keep you captivated till the end. A impossible to put down, and a story to charm and delight, with barrels of laughs and scorching hot moments....SEARING AND INTENSE!! A Must Read for MC romance Fans!!! GET IT NOW!!

My first book by this author and I must say I'm very pleased with it. I'm a huge fan of the MC genre but not many authors can write a good book with good characters. Jagger, well he was awesome. Totally alpha, totally sexy, totally badass but so very sweet underneath it all, a man who cared and loved very deeply. Arianne was great, I loved her fierce attitude and the fact that she could take care of herself. She was fiercely loyal, to a point where it got a bit frustrating when she showed that loyalty to the wrong people but with everything her bastard father and his club did to her, I don't really blame her for her choices, especially the one about leaving. She was headstrong and extremely stubborn, also frustrating, but she was a biker chick all the way through. Both characters were fabulous separately, but together they were so much better and the sexual chemistry was off the charts between them! Overall for a first book, this looks to be a promising series, with many funny, colorful and interesting characters. Lots of action and some mystery added to the story made the book extremely interesting to read, a real page turner. I look forward to reading future books in this series, if they're just as good or better than this one, this series will be a big hit with fans of the MC culture. SR

IT TAKES A GOOD, STRONG WOMAN Raised in a motorcycle gang, tough, beautiful Arianne Hunter has always dreamed of a normal life. But no sooner does she escape her father’s domineering grasp than she wakes up to find herself in a rival gang’s clubhouse—at the mercy of the dangerously sexy Jagger Knight. TO TAME A MAN WHO’S HELL ON WHEELS. The alpha leader of the notorious Sinner’s Tribe, Jagger Knight is all muscle, all biker, and all man. But somewhere inside this hard tattooed outlaw, Arianne senses a kindred spirit—and she can’t ignore their tempestuous attraction. Can she beat him at his own game in a revved-up blaze of glory? Or will their passion spark a war that’s the end of the road for them both? Review: Great start to a sexy, exciting new series! I have really enjoyed Ms. Castille's other books and was excited to read this first book in her new series. It was a sexy, action packed, biker romance.  I thought the characters were great and I really loved Arianne, I thought she was written wonderfully.  She is a tough, smart, go-getter type of a girl, not one to sit around and wait for a man to take care of everything, she literally takes care of business herself.  This is not to say she is not caring because she is and that is what gets her into trouble, caring for a brother who does not feel the same and even at times for the man who saves her, Jagger.  Jagger is your typical MC president, tough, smart, silent and secretive.  I liked Jagger but there were times I wanted to smack him, especially when he intentionally hurts Ari.   This is a much, I don't know, lower-key (for the lack of a better word) then a lot of the biker genre books I have read lately and I enjoyed this one for that.  It did have violence and sex, but it was less intrusive then some I have read. A great start, cannot wait to see whose story comes next. 4Stars

I have found a new MC club to obsess over! I love the Sinner’s Tribe and Jagger rocks!!! Oh my goodness, not only is the man an Alpha male, possessive, protective, loyal, sexy as sin, but he also has a sense of humor. He is as serious about his club as any President I’ve ever read about before, but then man knows when to laugh. His sense of humor that added a twist to an MC read I’m not used to, but certainly enjoyed. Rough Justice is a gritty, action-packed ride that has just the right amount of drama, justice, intrigue, bloodshed, and romance that it kept me glued to my Kindle for eight hours as I devoured the book. Oh what a wonderful Sunday read! As much as I lusted for Jagger, I loved Arianne. She is everything I could have wished for and more as Jagger’s counterpart. Arianne grew up in the MC lifestyle and hates it with a passion. Her father is a vicious man and President of the Black Jack’s MC club. Her goal is to get her and her younger brother out of the country, and start a new life where they’re out of their father’s reach. When her plans backfire and she finds herself at Jagger’s mercy, her whole world shifts as she’s found something – or someone – who gives her cause to stay. Arianne is a Bada$$ with a capital “B.” Because of how she was raised, she doesn’t cower in front of the Sinner’s Tribe, but she also respects the club’s hierarchy and bites her tongue in public several times when what she really wants to do is rail at Jagger. Both are extremely passionate people, and that definitely flows over to the bedroom. While Ms. Castille can certainly write some scorching sex scenes, she doesn’t inundate the reader with sex scene after sex scene. Based on conversations, it is clear that Arianne and Jagger are very active and because we don’t witness every one of them, it makes the scenes we are treated to that much hotter.  Along with all that passion comes the ability for Arianne and Jagger to hurt one another and they most certainly do. The emotional toll they exact from one another at times, especially when Jagger is trying to push Arianne away, is brutal. Of course their romance occurs at the same time war breaks out between Sinner’s Tribe and the Black Jacks, Jagger has to deal with dissension among the ranks, the club has been infiltrated by a mole, and threats are made against Arianne’s life. And somehow Ms. Castille makes this constantly expanding storyline mesh seamlessly. I absolutely loved the time I spent with the Sinner’s Tribe MC and cannot wait to read the next book in the series, Beyond the Cut, because I’m anxious to see Dawn deal with Thor (aka Cade) and I really want to know more about Banks. I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

Sarah’s debut with this MC book blow me! Like seriously! She nailed it! I really like MC books and I read them a lot, so when I’m saying that this book was like fresh air I’m not lying. Jagger is MC president. He is lonely until his clubhouse was set on fire and he meets beautiful green eyed girl Arianne. She is real hell cat! And only Jagger can tame her. This book has great plot line and twists. I never was bored while I was reading this story. There is a villain, love, passion, true friendship. About Arianne. Like I said she is real hell cat! She wants to do everything by herself and she isn’t scared of some bikers. She grew with them! Jagger…..oh he is real man. Lonely warrior until Arianne; he never wanted to have old lady until her. He is real alpha male who will protect his girl, club and true friends. There also was supporting characters that I loved too. Dawn was good friend. And I really want to read her story because I can feel that she has some dark secrets. Jagger’s friend Zane left me wondering about his broken heart too. Also there was one character that I wanted to strangle! I will not tell you who he was but it was close to Arianne. Soo….like I said before it was like fresh air in MC books! Loved it and I will definitely read next books in this story!

The Story: Sinner’s Tribe MC has just been attacked and there’s one witness. The Tribe wants blood but President Jagger wants answers. Arianne wakes up in the Sinner’s den, her fathers opposing club. She knows she isn’t safe and now it’s up to Jagger to let her go, only he’s looking for every opportunity for her to stay. Now it’s an all out gang war with traitors on both sides. Bad Biker Boys: Jagger is the ultimate bad boy with a soft side. He’s President of the Sinner’s Tribe. I liked Jagger a lot in this story even though he could be kind of controlling and definitely had his dark side take over sometimes. Jagger falls fast and hard for Arianne, which, is, both hot but definitely opened up a lot of room for conflict in the story. Hard Core Biker Ladies: Arianne wants out of her fathers’ biker world and she wants to take her brother with her. Arianne after meeting Jagger realizes how much apart of the biker world she’s in. I definitely enjoyed Arianne’s character since she’s tough, independent and doesn’t take crap from anyone. I enjoyed how much she grew over the course of the book since I LOVE character development. She’s sassy, tough, flawed and I love that she never gave up on a way to find her own way. The Good and the Bad: I want to say that I enjoyed this story, which I did. However, I found that I didn’t necessarily love the story and honestly I think it just had to do with predictability. I was never surprised by anything that happened which was a small downside for me. The good side was that while that was true I was still drawn in and I didn’t put this book down until I had finished. The Sexy Scenes: The sexy scenes were defineitly a high point for me in this book. Jagger has got some major swagger hehe and I enjoyed reading about his abs. Arianne and Jagger had some major chemistry that was instant and hot. The Writing: Sarah Castille’s writing was fabulous. I love how she incorporated the upcoming characters into this story. I enjoyed her realistic characters who also kicked major bootay. I enjoyed how nothing was over detailed so that I was able to create a mental picture, but still able to get enough from the story that I didn’t have a mental layout. Overall Sarah Castille’s story telling skills were enjoyable and I definitely can’t wait for her next book. Ending Statement: I enjoyed this beginning to a new series. I am super excited about book. Rough Justice was action packed with gun fights kick butt heroes and heroines. Sexy scenes and awesome female characters that will have you cheering for female power. A special thank you to the publishers and Netgalley for sending me a copy.

Overall, I enjoyed "Rough Justice". I only gave it 4 stars, because for some reason I couldn't quite like Jagger. I think it may have been his lack of decision making. I got a little sick of him letting individuals by and knowing it would come back at the end. I felt like his attitude didn't match his behavior.

I went back and forth on this one...depending on where I was in the book, it was either a 3 1/2 or 4 star read. It definitely piqued my interest in the series, though--even before I got to the Beyond the Cut sneak peak at the end! The interaction between Arianne and Jagger was great. Although their relationship had an insta-love feeling to it, the fact that both of them were such strong personalities gave their back-and-forth conversation a spark that was really entertaining to read. Jagger squeezed Arianne's hand. "She's coming with us tonight. I'll take her to Sparky's tomorrow." Arianne paused midstep and shook her hand free. "Jag-" "Shhh." Her eyes narrowed. "Did you just shhh me?" He cupped her jaw with his warm palm and tilted her head back, forcing her to meet his gaze. "This is the part where I'm protecting you, so you'll put up with bossy." Loved it when she got in his bossy biker face. He definitely needed someone who would stand up to him without undermining his credibility, and Arianne's an expert. And their romance? Definite steam...another plus. But then there were the parts that dropped it down a half a star or so. Arianne's ability to delude herself went above and beyond at times. It takes her 20+ years to refer to herself as a biker--really? She was so clearly a part of the culture, whether shewanted to be or not. Her blindness where her brother was concerned was at least more believable, even if it went on longer than it really should have. Jagger's choices and motivations didn't always make a lot of sense to me, which sometimes pulled me out of the story temporarily. In the end I enjoyed the story--the ending was particularly strong, which helped--and am really looking forward to the second book. Bring on Dawn and Cade; I'm ready! Rating: B I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

4.5 out of 5 stars This was awesome! Intense, action packed, and super sexy!  I love a well written alpha male and Jagger, oh man, with his sexy dominance and bad-assness, he was fantastic! Even more than a good alpha male, I love a strong woman character and Arianne fit that bill perfectly. So strong, doing what she has to do to survive in this violent world that she lives in. Her attitude and challenging ways had me liking her from the very beginning.   Jagger and Arianne together were great and I love that this story is told from both their POV’s. They had that back and forth banter that I love and serious chemistry. That helped to make it a really great read because I was so excited about what they would do next. There were some emotional  moments for her which were great. While I loved Jagger, I was missing that vulnerability from him that she showed. I loved that they were fighting their feelings even though they were so drawn to one another, I just couldn't get enough. I thought there was a good build to their relationship and the hotness (because there was serious hotness!). They also had some intense moments between the two of them. At one point I wanted to throttle Jagger! It created some serious anxiety in me.  I liked the MC world that was created and the drama that was happening. There were a lot of different characters to keep straight but Cade and Zane really stood out to me as strong. I'd love to know more about them. The next book features Cade and Ariane’s friend Dawn (who was great!) and I am really excited about that. There was a lot of rival club business going on as well that made thing intense, I liked that added conflict.   This just had a great blend of everything I love. Story, characters, emotion, passion, and drama! If you like MC books, you’ll love this! Complimentary copy received for honest review.

Introduce yourself to the MC world: ROUGH JUSTICE is the first installment in Sarah Castille’s new, contemporary, adult Sinners Tribe Motorcycle Club erotic romance series focusing on the members of the Sinners Tribe MC. This is club president Jagger Knight and Arianne Hunter’s storyline- a story of forbidden love, betrayal and revenge. Told from third person point of view ROUGH JUSTICE focuses on an attack against the Sinners Tribe MC by a rival club that resulted in one member dead, their club house destroyed and Arianne Hunter –a prisoner of the Sinners Tribe MC. Left behind at the scene of the crime, Arianne finds herself not so much a prisoner but owned by the club president. Believing Arianne was a party to the death and destruction, the Sinners Tribe members want to make an example out of her but Jagger sees something different in Arianne-he sees a possible future, if only a temporary one.  The attraction between Arianne and Jagger is immediate but one of forbidden love. As a member of the rival MC, Arianne is off limits but it is her true identity that will force Jagger to think long and hard about what it is he wants and what he now has to do.  Arianne refuses to return to her old club but her reasons are more complicated and darker than Jagger could have known.   Jagger is a powerful, alpha male; a dominant club president whose word is law and he is the final authority. Nothing is done without his permission but saying that he is a man with a heart-buried deep within a scarred chest-but a heart that believes all women should be protected. Jagger has a softer side, one that does not go unnoticed by his fellow club brethren when he begins to lose focus on what is important to the club. Loyalties and leadership will be questioned.   When one of his fellow club brothers targets Arianne for justice, Jagger must step up and enforce the MC laws.  Arianne is a strong willed woman determined to leave town and start a new life away from the destructive nature of the biker lifestyle.  She has faced death, experienced assault and brutal beatings but it is her love for her brother that has forced Arianne to make the decision to run.  Saying that, our heroine, is torn between wanting to leave and remaining a part of Jagger’s life. In this, there is a continuous push and pull throughout the storyline; Arianne runs hot and cold.    Our heroine believes herself to be capable of self preservation and survival but at times it will take an emotional and angry Jagger to save her from herself and others. The supporting and secondary characters are numerous including many members of the Sinners Tribe MC. We are introduced to Jagger’s fellow bikers including Cade, Zane, Axle and Wheels as well as Banksy, the local bar owner whose background is secretive and dark.  Arianne’s family plays a dangerous role in her need to run but none more so than a father who views his daughter as less than worthy. ROUGH JUSTICE is a graphically violent storyline about betrayal, revenge and justice but not as graphic as some of the current MC series on the market. The language is strong but, again, not as explicit as other stories in the same genre. Don’t get me wrong, this is definitely an adult storyline, with adult and erotic situations, graphic language and depictions of violence, with lots of sex between our H/h but the brutality is not always ‘in your face’; some of the situations take place behind the scenes or as part of a memory and backstory; and the language is tempered in comparison. There are some issues of repetition and redundancy but overall your eyes should not bleed after reading the story. Sarah Castille does a wonderful job with the first storyline in her new Sinners Tribe MC series. With the introduction of many of Jagger’s fellow club brothers, we get a little background into their history, their heartbreak and their connections to one another. If you are new to the MC genre, the Sinners Tribe MC series by Sarah Castille is a must read; get your feet wet with ROUGH JUSTICE and club president Jagger Knight.

Sexy Bikers Oh Yeah! Jagger is the sexy leader of the notorious Sinner’s Tribe motorcycle club. He is ex military and dangerous, and his club always comes first. The rival gang members steal their guns and burn their club house down. They end up finding one of them at the scene but when they remove the helmet they are surprised to see a sexy woman. When Jagger questions Adrienne she denies anything to do with it. Jagger is instantly attracted to her especially when he finds out that can shoot, ride, and is tough as his members in his club. Adrianne was raised in her dad’s motorcycle gang; she knew she had to be tough to fight for survival so she is determined to leave this life behind her. This book has romance, suspense, and sexy bikers. I am looking forward to the next book in this series. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Rock 'n' ride, baby... I fell in love with Sarah Castille when I read her Redemption Series. I didn't think it could get better than that, but I was wrong, Rough Justice kicks a$$. Vexy is my new hero, she is the ultimate bada$$ biker chick who can fight, shoot, ride, repair motorcycles and beat anyone in a game of pool. And to make her even better, she's broken. Her dysfunctional family and painful past has turned her into a loner with only one goal in life, to get away from the biker life. That plan really sucks for Jagger, cuz he kinda likes her and would like for her to stick around and rock his world. And that plan isn't likely to work out either since she is the daughter of his biggest enemy. He has pledged that the club must always come first so he has to put his lust on the back burner while he tries to find out if she can be trusted. You are in for a treat, because when the sexy, muscled, tattooed alpha president of the Sinner's Tribe MC gets anywhere near the daughter of his rival gang the temperature rises and you are guaranteed to melt into a puddle just reading the hotness. And did I mention that there are plenty more sexy bada$$ bikers to fuel the author's literary genius and keep us readers entertained for a long while to come? I'm already excited to get my hands on Beyond The Cut. I've been snickering in glee as as Dawn & Cade kept circling each other, determined to keep their relationship to an occasional friendly F*@ck with no strings attached. Yeah, right. *giggle snort* I can't wait to get the bedroom view of their relationship, it's gonna be HOT!

Super good, but if you’re totally against women being lesser than men, probably shouldn’t read this.

I picked this up as "something different" to try. Motorcycle Club ("MC") books seem to be a fairly popular genre, so I though I'd give it a shot. And while I probably won't be reading any more MC books, this one was pretty good. Plenty of action keeps the plot moving forward at a very rapid pace. Intrigue surrounds the rival motorcycle gangs and the members. The romance take quite a while to get going though (which is more or less why I was turned off by the MC genre). Adrianne "Vexy" Hunter was born into the Viper MC, daughter of it's current President. Unfortunately for her, she has no interest in remaining under the brutal thumb of her father. On the night the Viper MC burns down the Sinner's Tribe clubhouse, she tries to save her brother from getting involved but ends up as a prisoner of the Sinner's Tribe MC and it's wickedly attractive President, Jagger Knight. And despite a hundred of his MC brothers clamoring for Adrianne's head, Jagger refuses to kill an innocent woman. Especially one he reluctantly lusts after. The writing in this novel is absolutely superb. Although I quickly realized a few chapter into the book that MC novels probably wouldn't interest me, this author's turn of phrase and whip-tight narrative pacing kept me glued in my chair eager to learn what happened next. An interesting cast of characters and plenty of subplots, I highly recommend checking this out if you are a fan of the MC genre. Originally posted at Plot Twist Reviews [dot] Com

I am without words.  Castille has officially left me speechless.  I could barely put this one down while reading it and now I can’t stop thinking about it. Castille’s raw and to the point writing brings this rough and tumble world to life in such a manner that you not only experience the life, but can also feel the tension and danger that these characters face every day.  She doesn’t speak of MCs in abstract terms, but rather as if you’re part of this world.   Castille writes hot sex and even hotter characters.  Jagger and Arianne definitely hold their own in this one.  She is the type of character that you want to be, even if you don’t want to life the life.  Jagger is the ultimate bad boy hero.  They’re also genuinely nice individuals whose stories make them oh-so-very-real.  She also brings the entire MC to life, not just her main characters.  I felt like I’d met all the brothers.   This novel was exquisitely real.  Castille took me on the ride of a lifetime and I can’t wait to get back on it!
