Emma Chase just knows how to get my emotions all twisted and invested in a book. I couldn’t believe how much I enjoyed a historical romance, the emotions I was put through where insane. Edward and Lenora story was one I wasn’t prepare for, I love the series, but this book is entirely different in a good way.

The first words that came to mind when I thought about this review was just plain and simple .. WOW .. Queen Lenore was nothing I expected her to be in her younger years. The hard nose, book to the grind Queen was just a small simple lonely beautiful soul. I loved learning how she was groomed for the Thorn and the friendships she made along the way. I also can’t believe she went to the one place I NEVER thought she would step foot in .. yes Edward took her and she would go any where with prince Edward .. because she TRUSTED him but .. The Hornet Goat !! You go Lenny !! The relationship she had with Thomas was breath taking and for h8m to give her Edward was just a gift .. for BOTH of them. And don’t get me started on MiMi .. she was a hoot !! Loved every single emotion and feeling you get from this installment .. just the simple words I LOVE YOU ❤️

This is book #4 in the Royally series. This story can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding, and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order. Princess Lenora needs to be a wife. Apparently being the royal is not enough. With all that is going on in her life, why does this have to be the priority? Edward is the long lost brother of her best friend. When he meets her, it is like being struck by lightning. Instant attraction - for them both. While this series is more than HOT, this book starts out with more of a cool tone. The ups and downs that happen to this royal gem are more familiar than most would want to admit to, I have a special love for this one who has been through so much. There is so much heart in this book, and when the heat begins..... oh MY! ***This ARC copy was given in exchange for an honest review only.

Go get your crown, a good cup of tea or coffee & get settled into enjoy another romantic story in this series! I loved it all! Lenora is one tough, strict, follow the rules, all business kinda of woman. She has to be in her status but when she me meets Edward, she realizes that maybe she does not have to follow the rules, especially with him. Lenora & Edward's story is filled with many emotions. You love, you hate, you cry, you swoon, you love hard! Author Emma Chase has done it again and gave us another memorable story full of characters to cherish. A Must One Click!

4.5/5 Royally Yours will pierce your heart and leave a permanent mark behind. Edward and Lenora's story is a true fairytale filled with both debilitating sorrow and exceptional happiness, mixed with the events that create the turning points in our lives and shape our identities more than anything else.  Witnessing Lenora maturing through the pages of Royally Yours gave clarity to the reality of the constraints and pressures of being heir to a throne (even a fictional one). The outdated traditions and misogyny crushing the spirit and the unbearable loneliness of such a position.  Each high and low of Lenora's life became so personal it was as if she were a relation, her happiness became my entire focal point. Brought together via tragedy, Lenora and Edward's relationship had a feeling of destiny to it, as if it was pre-ordained from the highest of powers They are each others, other half, perfectly complementing and balancing each other. I adored witnessing Lenora blossom into the vibrant women she was always destined to become.  Royally Yours will make you laugh, cry and most definitely swoon.

I was royally destroyed by this book. The characters are so captivating and tragic that you just want to take them home with you and make everything better again. Emma Chase has an amazing way of making me laugh, even through my tears and she has done it, yet again, with this book!

I received a free copy through InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion. 4.5 stars — Well this one had me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Seriously. I mean, yeah, perhaps I was PMS-ing a wee bit, but I was honest to god bawling at one point and had to put the book down. There’s just something about the way Ms. Chase writes that has me connecting to her characters so fully that I *feel* their heartbreak, their loss, their loneliness. I’m not sure what I was expecting from Queen Lenora’s story, but I don’t think I was quite prepared for that. She got to me, you know? Lenora had such a strange upbringing, and she was so isolated in so many ways, I just felt for the weight of responsibility on her shoulders, and how she felt such a barrier between herself and everyone else. It just got to me. SHE got to me. I kind of want to go back and reread the series, b/c now I have a different perspective on her. She was so fierce. I mean, yeah, she was stubborn, and somewhat entitled (reasonably so in her position), but she was also principled and the strength it took to step into that position at such a young age…well she is the stuff to be admired. I loved the way she loved her country, and truly fought back as much as she could in that time period to do what she thought was right. We didn’t really get to meet Edward until well into the book, so I’m not sure I felt like I connected with him quite as much. In the end, I didn’t know *him* so much as the him he was in relation to Lenora. That didn’t bother me, it’s just something I realized as I’m writing this review. But I did love the Edward that came home. He dealt with some pretty heavy blows, but became a real strength to Lenora…he connected to the woman underneath and not the Queen. I loved the way he supported her, and that even though he faltered at times, he took responsibility for his actions. He was very much an alpha in so many ways, but he was also not afraid to be vulnerable. I loved that dichotomy. And their romance was truly a story worth telling. I think because of all the different aspects that Ms. Chase wanted to convey, the story occasionally felt a little choppy with the time jumps, mostly near the end. But I loved the rest of the story so much, it really didn’t affect my enjoyment at’all. I ADORED the feelings they developed for one another, and how I connected with not just their attraction, but their genuine deepening feelings. I believed the progression of their relationship, and it made my heart so happy! And hoo boy, the steamy scenes were delicious! One last point: Thomas. There were many fantastic secondary characters (Miriam, Alfie, Winston), but Thomas took the cake. I was half in love with him at the first dance. He took this story from beautiful to extraordinary. I can’t say more without giving spoilers, but I adored the glasses in the pocket. When you read it, you’ll understand. So yeah. I don’t know what it is about the way Ms. Chase writes, but I just connect with her characters. I laughed and cried and just felt all the feelings, from grief to pure joy. And it didn’t hurt that when I was reading the steamy scenes, Edward was *almost* saying my name…

Sweet read, but heed the warning This was a very sweet read from Emma Chase. It was a bit heavy for me and it should come with a warning about the subject matter. It tore at my heart, but it was a sweet love story. Heed the warning, but overall a good book.

4.5 stars This is the first book I have read of this series and feel it definitely can be read as a stand-alone! I rather liked sassy Lenora, she was a lady that knew what she wanted and would put her foot down if she didnt! When she becomes queen and it is suggested she marry, needless to say who she marries is rather surprising! However they also seem like a match made in heaven or in the palace as it should be! I loved them both. The friendship that grew and the steamy moments were sizzling!! I loved how Edward brought excitement into Lenora's life! I especially loved how he was with her and I really loved how it ended! I really enjoyed this magical book, the characters, the words written and the idea that maybe what goes on in a palace stays in the palace, lol! Can’t wait to see what the author writes next!

4.5 Stars - relationship driven, sweet romance Royally Yours was the perfect royal romance. I’ve read the first book in the series and absolutely loved it, so when I realized that the Queen grandma was getting her story told, I didn’t hesitate to jump in. Lenore was raised to become the first ever Queen of her country. All she’s ever known is duty, be it to family or country and when she is crowned at 19, this only becomes more pronounced. Edward left all the falsehood of nobility protocols behind when he left the country. Then tragedy brings him back home and then binds him to Lenore. Even though he’s more than captivated by the young monarch, his new life is the exact opposite of his previous adventurous existence. I absolutely adored how the set up of this story was done. We get to witness how Lenore was brought up, and this gave us a more profound understanding of why she’d act like a 50-year-old seasoned politician at only 19. She was incredibly selfless and mature beyond her years. Her only focus was doing the best for her country and her people, and nothing else really mattered. That is until Edward steps in, and a whole new world appears. Edward was exactly what Lenore needed to actually experience life. Bossy and alpha enough not to be cowed by Lenore’s strong personality and iron will, he was playful, sexy and worldly. I totally loved the way he understood Lenore’s needs and was set on getting to her softest core. It’s clear I found them lovely and adorable as a couple. I loved the way the got to know one another and grow close, and fond of each other. Their chemistry was fabulous and their slow build-up led to some seriously hot shenanigans. Royally Yours evoked all the feels, from smiling at the sweetness of their romance, to fanning myself at their encounters and it had me teary-eyed more than once. I run the whole gamut of emotions and I was hooked from the start to the very last word. A completely relationship driven story, it was exactly what I expected and it’s redoubled my desire to catch up on the other installments in this series. *I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book*

I loved the first books in this series, so a chance to go back and kind of find out where it all began was a bonus that I was very excited to read! I always love when a favorite series goes back in time to share some of the older characters' back stories. And that's exactly what we got here. This book was so hard to put down. I started reading it only 2 days before I had to post the review, but it wasn't really a problem. Once I picked it up, I was sucked into Lenora's story, and when I did have to put it down for some reason, I was shocked at how far I'd gone. Obviously the sexual part of the relationship was a little different in this one since it was set in a different time period, a historical time period where premarital sex was definitely a no-no for a Queen. That doesn't mean she was a prude, or that there was no steamy bits before the wedding. Which is good, because Emma Chase knows how to write a good sex scene. But this story was so much more than the romance. The family and friends and history of the country of Wessco was such a good read for those of us who are fans of the series. The time period made for something that would have been expected for a single female ruler, that she must be married in order to be taken seriously. Queen Lenora's younger sister Miriam's wild escapades made it so that Lenora had to actually consider it sooner than she'd planned, and then the actual turnout of said escapades made the whole situation so frustrating. Both things that I was so angry with and for Lenora about. And then, without giving anything away, let me say that the loss of one character in the story had me in tears. This wasn't a character we had experiences with from the earlier books in the series. But that didn't matter. I still had tears in my eyes, and streaming down my cheeks as I read that part of the story. Once we did get to the romance and steamy bits, I was definitely pleased with how the author handled the time period and our characters. I loved meeting characters from the earlier books as they phased into the palace, like Fergus, the grumpy butler! There were several little epilogue parts that i adored as well, each extra moment we were given with Queen Lenora and Prince Edward. While I think I'd love to follow the next generation, knowing what will happen with their son already from reading the first two books makes it so that I don't know if it would be a very good story. Probably would be sobbing like a baby at the end if I read and fell in love with those characters the way I did with this book's characters, as well as the other earlier characters. A great addition to the series. Yes, it can be a standalone, and yes, it could be read before the first three. But I suggest you go back and read all three in order and then pick this one up. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook… Her name alone carries power…it carries ancestry…it carries significance. It’s the name she was born with…the name that follows her royal bloodline…the name befitting of a ruler. And, despite her age…her inexperience…her unworldliness, a queen she becomes and I can wholeheartedly say that Queen Lenora rises and she reigns. Heading into Royally Yours, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I’ve ADORED every book in Emma Chase’s Royally series, so my expectations as the series has progressed have exponentially grown and that’s because of Chase’s lyrical prose and her creation of a cast of royal characters who are bound to shake up their royal lineage more than a little bit. So, while I’ll admit that Lenora and Edward’s story started a bit slow for me, the further into their story I got, especially when Edward returned home and made good on his promise, the more captivated I was by every part of Lenora and Edward’s unusual courting and the steps that Edward took to de-ice the young Queen, helping her to experience adventures that she never would have had without Edward’s assistance. Despite the losses she faced and the second guessing she endured, Lenora was made to rule, and she more than proves that as she not only grows into her position but leads with grace, intelligence, and purpose. I never saw her as the bitter and cold ruler that she was perceived to be, and I’m sure that’s because I was privy to her internal thoughts and could see the woman beneath the crown and the veneer that she has worked diligently to wear and perfect. She was born and raised to lead and she more than proves herself, knowing exactly what needs to be done, why it needs to be done and how it needs to be done and woe to any member of Parliament or her Advising Council who questions her choices or her methods because Her Majesty is not one who to be trifled with, not only because she has a commanding presence but also because she has a man at her back and by her side to hold her up, even when others want her to fall. I absolutely LOVED everything about Edward Langdon Richard Dorian Rourke, and while some may question him for leaving his home to go on his own adventures for over a decade, his time away and what he learned help to guide him in his new position and makes him the perfect partner for his Lenny. Once the decision was made, Edward took his new life seriously and did everything he could to prove himself and he more than achieves what he wanted to and then some. The care he takes with Lenora, both personally and professionally, will make readers melt and wish for their own Prince Edward. Lenora and Edward’s story was perfectly paced…nothing about their relationship was rushed and as they learned everything there was to know about one another, they discovered just how perfectly matched they are and why they were born to be together as his Queen and her Prince. 4.5 Poison Apples

Royally Yours is the fourth book in the Royally series by the fabulous and talented Emma Chase. I love this series and these characters. The writing is so damn good and so full of emotion. This is my favorite book of Emma's and that's saying a lot! Royally Yours is the Queen's story. I love the Queen. She's strong, intriguing and I knew her story was going to be fantastic. Royally Yours is the story I didn't know I needed until I started it. We already know how things ended but now we get to see how they began. Lenora was raised to be the first Queen of Wessco and she's crowned at nineteen. She's smart as a whip, commanding, pretty, tough and a born leader. But she's not married. It's not something she wants but to rule the country it seems to be necessary. Edward left his title and his home years ago to live, travel and have adventures. When he's called home for his family, he meets Lenora, or Lenny as he calls her, and he ends up staying because of a promise. Marry the Queen? Stay in Wessco and serve her and the country? Sure, why not. There's something about this girl that calls to him. She's beautiful, but she's a ruler and he can't stop thinking about her. He wants to see her smile her real smile and laugh her genuine laugh. Together they learn things about each other and build on their chemistry. It's more than physical. Their connection goes down into their souls. She's lets her hair down for Edward and he devotes himself to his Queen. They grow together. Laugh together. Live an adventure together. It's not always easy but they are a team. Trust is earned. Love is everything. Together they rule the country, their family and their legacy. I feel like I need to repeat that I didn't even know I needed this story in my life until I started reading it. I adored it. Loved every word. Lenora and Edward made me laugh, cry, smile, cheer and cry some more. At one point I was smiling while tears were streaming down my face. Knowing how their story ultimately ends made me sad, but watching it start, grow and flourish made me so incredibly happy. Thank you for filling my heart, Emma!

Lenore and Edward. I didn't read any teasers or anything Emma posted about this upcoming book - so I was pretty surprised to find out this would be somewhat of a historical romance. Lenore is the grandma of the royals from the previous books. And now we get to hear her story. In the 1950ies, shortly after her mom dies, her father dies too and suddenly Lenore is queen at the young age of 19. And the whole country and all politicians tell her she needs a husband. But she's not interested. Until Edward comes along. He's the older brother of her good friend Thomas and he's back from his adventures ... to marry a queen?? ☺☺ READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN! ♥♥♥♥ Eeep, finally book #4 in this amazing series! Such an adorable romance! A sad romance. So heartbreaking and so full of loss and sacrifices! I just loved this book. I kind of cried all through it. But I also awwwed and smiled. Edward is so adorable and he brings out this sweet girl in the coldish queen. I just adored those two. This was the perfect romance. Sweet, funny, sad, adorable. The only thing I hated and that broke my heart a bit while reading - and I know it's all fictional, but still - we know, from reading all the previous books, that Edward is already dead in the present time. Lenore is already a widow when we first meet her. They had a long and beautiful life together, but it's still so sad to think about. Ugh.☺ ► ROYALLY YOURS was another amazingly beautiful book in Emma's Royally series! FUNNY, SEXY, ADORABLE & HEARTBREAKING! Run to your nearest amazon for your own Edward - this one is MINE! ☺

What an absolutely epic, beautiful love story. My heart feels so full! I adored every single thing about this, every detail and connection. It was filled with a wonderful mix of humor, emotion, and love, and it was brilliantly executed. Amazing read! This was such a heartfelt story, I was either smiling from the wonderful humor or trying not to cry from all the amazing moments that take place. I loved learning every single thing about Lenora. I already adored her as the strong, older queen she was in the other books but learning her history, of how she truly became to be was wonderful. Such a sweet girl full of sass who has to take on a very serious role. There was just so much feeling and emotion behind it all, some of it felt absolutely crushing and devastating. But it's these things and moments that form who Lenora is. As for Edward, he was the definition of swoon-worthy. I loved how sexy and confident he was. I loved his devotion to his brother and what he'd do for him. I loved him opening up to Leonora and challenging her and being her champion. Their chemistry was amazing and I loved watching them ignite. Lenora was so inexperienced but watching that playful heat between them build was awesome. I loved those steamy and passionate times. I loved and adored a beautiful friendship that Lenora formed in her youth and how it played out into adulthood. It just felt so poignant and real. I like how her friendships and bonds form who she is. I loved the parallels of her and her sister to her grandchildren in the other books in the series. I loved the connections and characters that were introduced that play a part of the other books as well. The story is set in the 50's, a totally different time for women and I love how Lenora dealt with issues related to that time period and how she stood up for herself. Her dealing with a group of grumpy old men is priceless. The attention to detail and how the author brought it all together was amazing. There’s emotion, humor, and a bit of drama. There are heartbreaking moments and entertaining ones. There is passion and heat and so much love. This had everything I could have wanted and so much more. Hands down Emma Chase is a favorite, go-to author for me and this is one of the best things she's ever written. Having read this series in order, I wasn't sure what to expect since I know Lenora as a much older queen. It was an absolute eye opener getting to see her younger self, the things I loved about her in previous stories kick into place and mean even more. Lenora and Edward have a beautiful, heartfelt love story that's playful and passionate, I couldn't have asked for more. There were just so many precious things that brought this story to life. Absolute perfection!

When you’re reading the prologue and each word makes you more breathless than the last, you sense a story of greatness is about to unfold. This is that story. I was spellbound from the first word to the last. The story was unique and compelling and kept me on an emotional roller coaster throughout. I literally laughed out loud, silently cheered, and struggled more than once to contain my sobs. Ladylike sniffling just isn’t possible with this emotional read. The touching, beautiful moments evoked just as many tears as the poignant scenes. Contributing to the amazing storyline were the completely enthralling characters. The secondary cast was just as charming as the main characters and caused many of my emotional mood swings. Lenora instantly captured my heart. She displayed such shrewdness, strength, wit, and confidence for one so young. As she matured and wielded the power she’d been born to with an uncompromising iron will, my girl crush only deepened. Edward. Ooooh, Edward. sigh. It’s as if the author peeked inside my head to create my perfect hero. No stereotypical, feckless husband for Queen Lenora. No, Edward is all man. A dashing, adventurous, sexy alpha – minus the hole. When he flexed his power or thrust aside tradition in defense of his queen, it wasn’t just my heart that fluttered. Admittedly, I was a little nervous going into this story. I’m not a fan of history or period pieces, and I’ve been in a months long book funk, dnfing or shelving just as many book as I finished. My concerns were unwarranted on both counts. The author did an excellent job of creating the feel of a modern day romance. And if this epic, flawless read hasn’t cured my book funk, it certainly made all the duds that came before seem insignificant. Royally Yours is absolute perfection, and takes top spot as my favorite romance of all time. Long live the Queen! Every star in the galaxy.

By far and away, Royally Yours is the BEST book in the Royally Series and an unquestionable top 10 read of 2018!! Read it and get swept away by its elegance, it's sensuality, and the majestic power of duty, sacrifice, and love.

Royally Yours is a beautiful, romantic story and is a wonderful addition to the Royally Series. While Royally Yours is a part of the Royally Series, it can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. Queen Lenora is a character I’ve wondered about for quite sometime and I loved getting to see where it all began, how her story would unfold. I was kept on the edge of my seat and taken for one heck of a ride. Queen Lenora’s story was anything but easy. She came to power at a young age and had many hurdles to overcome just because she was a woman. She was strong, fierce and independent. While those characteristics make for a good queen, she has certain expectations she must adhere to. Things that the queen doesn’t want to do, but isn’t left with much of a choice…..Edward was the kind of man that just wanted to be free. Free from duty. Free from title. He spent years trying to figure out what he was missing out of life. But, when tragedy strikes, he finds himself in the one place he thought he’d never return. A promise will keep him there and will turn his entire world upside down…. Overall, I really enjoyed this story. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t put this book down. I loved getting to know more about Lenora and seeing just how difficult is was for a woman to reign. I loved her strength and devotion. Her friendship with Thomas made my heart so happy and I loved how good they were for one another. And then there is sweet Edward. I loved his spirit and how devoted he was to his family. I loved that he took a chance on the queen. Their marriage may not have started out in the most conventional way. But, I loved seeing these two fall and navigate their way through what lies ahead. Their relationship was the stuff that dreams are made of. It was the sweetest, most swoon-worthy romance that just turned me into the biggest pile of goo. Not to mention, the chemistry between these two just burned up the pages. Royally Yours was the perfect addition to this story and hit all the marks that I was looking for. I fell in love with these characters from the very first page and was totally swept up in their story.

What utter perfection Royally Yours is to read. Reading about Lenora as a young woman was the icing on the royal cake made with Chocolate sublime. We meet Lenora as a teenager following her father as he attends to his royal duties. From an early age Lenora has known she was going to be the first queen to rule Wessco. Spending very little time being a young girl, so it was beautiful reading about her relationship with Thomas and his brother Prince Edward. Thomas being her first friend had a positive influence by teaching her to be young. This was such a pleasure reading about this woman who we know from previous books as the family’s matriarch. This is a five-star read as a beautiful story of heartbreak and finding love and joy. After reading the other books makes this so much more.

As Edward and Lenora found themselves it was obvious that they were stealing my heart. She's the woman who was groomed to be Queen. He's the man determined to make a difference. Edward never wanted the life that Lenora is meant to have, but when the heart calls, his path is set. Chase goes deep into a dynasty and with humor and romance humanizes a larger than life kind of love. Royally Yours is a NEED TO READ.
