Zeus Kincaid is an Olympic boxing champion. And Cam was a ballet dancer. Her dream, to be on the New York City ballet. But because life got in the middle, she is a go-go dancer in a club in Manhattan. Zeus and Cam were together for four years. Until he left her. Over the phone. (not cool, Zeus. Not cool) This is the beginning of their story. A wonderful beginning that got me hooked from the very first page. After these four years, Zaus is back. He still loves Cam. He has always loved her. But she doesn't trust him. He broke her heart once. So she is not willing to give him another chance. And, moreover, there is a surprise waiting for him! I loved this book. The characters are great, although Cam sometimes thinks everything too much. One of the best books I haver read this year.

4.5 Stars in my Sky! It's no secret that I'm a huge Samantha Towle awkward fangirl (I managed to prattle on at her about her shoes and forget to get a picture with her at a recent book signing) so I always make sure to approach every new release of hers without bias and be as objective as possible. That being said, I can always rely on Samantha to provide a fun, dramatic and swoon worthy story full of sexy charm and witty banter! Sam is the Queen of bad boys. She gave us rockstars and racers to swoon over, and now we have badass boxer Zeus. Zeus and Cameron were school sweethearts. She was the good girl ballerina who won his heart. They were love's young dream until life and his career got in the way, and he does the unthinkable. Cam's left with a broken heart and one heck of a life changer that she sure wasn't expecting. Years later and Cam is a different kind of dancer and Zeus is a superstar fighter. Cam's locked down her feelings and Zeus remains a traumatic memory for her. As far as she's concerned he didn't want her or Gigi, so she's not prepared for him to make a sudden reappearance back in her life making all kinds of demands and promises. I really liked Cam. She's funny, sweet and sassy. I loved her relationship with her aunt and Gigi is just too cute. Zeus is full of the usual Samantha Towle leading man cocky charm and swagger. He's vulnerable and oh-so caring. I'm really hoping we get to see more of his siblings... I love a second chance romance because there's something wonderful about watching characters who thought they missed their chance at a HEA realising that just maybe they can find one after all. Team Towle for the win! I received a review copy

Delightful, moving, and sexy, Ruin by Samantha Towle was one of my favorite reads this year. Not knowing what to expect, as this is the first book I read by this author, I was pleasantly surprised to find not only did I absolutely love the story, but Samantha’s writing style as well. A heart throbbing second chance romance at its finest. Zeus Kincaid, heavyweight champion of the world, was the definition of a sensual panty dropping boxer. Boxing was his life, it’s how he survived. He didn’t make a living boxing for nothing, he made sure his siblings were taken care of and had everything they ever needed. But before his boxing career took off, he met Cameron Reed. Cam was supposed to be his forever, his happily ever after. That is until he made the biggest mistake of his life, and let her go. He thought he was doing the right thing, taking advice from the right person, but all he did was cause Cam heartache. He didn’t realize, he wasn’t just loosing Cam, not until he bumps into her five years later. Cameron Reed, is one of my favorite heroines, she is independent, strong, and determined. She met Zeus at a young age, and immediately fell for his charm. She knew he was it for her, the love of her life. When his boxing took off, they kept a long distance relationship. She was nothing but supportive, she would do just about anything for Zeus. All she ever dreamed of was becoming a dancer. Two years into Juilliard, she had to make what was one of the hardest decisions of her life. Due to her current circumstances, she left Juilliard and moved in with her aunt. Not only was she leaving behind her lifelong dream, but she was completely devastated and heartbroken. Zeus didn’t just break up with her, he destroyed her, he hurt her, he broke her heart. Five years later, Cam has life figured out, she is happy and content with what she has made of herself. She has never fully gotten over Zeus, but has moved past the anger and pain he caused her. She lives with the reminder of what they shared, every single day. When Zeus unexpectedly walks back into her life, the anger and pain comes rushing back with just one look. Zeus is determined to get Cam back, but Cam doesn’t make it easy for him, he has five years of time to make up for. I could not read this book fast enough. I loved every bit of it, from start to finish. Samantha brought this book to life! I am a sucker for second chance romances, but I loved this book for many reasons. The characters were developed flawlessly, the story flowed perfectly, and it had just the right amount of angst and romance. A must read, it will keep you wanting more. I will most definitely continue to read this author in the future. 5 well deserved stars!

10 beautiful DOVE STARS! A non spoiler review Gahhhhh another phenomenal beautifully written book by Samantha Towle. I read it in a day, I couldn’t stay away, I needed to turn the pages of this unbelievably heartwarming yet heartbreaking story. Zeus and his Dove will give you all the feels and butterflies, but it’s Gigi that will steal the show and your heart. She will RUIN you for all future little girls. This little girl had me at her first word. Her use of w’s and her adorable personality had me gushing. This little firecracker will melt your insides. I can’t say enough about her and the way Samantha has portrayed her. She’s simply PERFECT. This book is a SLOW BURN that will keep your pages turning, the journey your about to read will set your heart and your insides on fire. I felt EVERYTHING!!! Cam and Zeus have lost, they’ve loved. They’ve learned to forgive but not forget. They’ve seen betrayal and hurt. You will see them conquer it all and become stronger for it together. OH MY HEART! this book is everything I wasn’t expecting but everything I wanted in a book. You will laugh, smile, cry, scream, you will get angry and impatient. But most of all you will heal right along with the characters in this book. It sweet and raw, full of passion. It’s a second chance you hope for. I was rooting for them, I was at the edge of my seat. My heart was bursting at the seams. At times Cam made me pull my hair out. I was like come on girl you got this...... AMAZINGGGGGGGGG! READ THIS BOOK! TRUST ME YOU WANT TOO.
