Christmas and children go hand in hand.
As the holidays approach, Megan and her beagle, Barney are finding children in the oddest places. But these are children aren't from the families of Citrus Beach-they're from a gang of runaways.
When one little girl falls, injuring herself, Megan jumps in to help. When Sammy's tells her story, Megan learns of exploitation, injury and even murder surrounding the children.
Megan wants to help these children, and together she and FBI consultant Aiden investigate, discovering a diabolical scheme. This convinces the duo they must put an end to the children's plight. The best way to bring the runaways trouble to an end is to set a trap, and Megan is ready with one.
While Megan and Aiden are busy with their plans, friends and family make plans. They are determined to share the joy of Christmas with the children who need it most, proving Christmas is a time of love.
About the Author
Victoria writes the cozy mystery series Citrus Beach Mysteries. The series is filled with small-town feeling and her character, Barney adds sweet humor. Romance is heating up in the tropics, too.
She also has a "clean Chic Lit" series (Sister Station), and a new paranormal cozy mystery series (Storm Voices). Currently, she is working on a new cozy mystery series (Mrs. Avery's Adventures)
Victoria can often be found writing from her south Florida home, looking into her garden, watching the birds and squirrels fight over their next meal, while she writes. Her two cats, Miss Marple and Fletch, often join her at the desk and each has their assigned spot. Victoria's not sure they are there to supervise her writing or watch the birds.
Victoria and her husband of 35 years share a love of gardening, and together they have written a gardening handbook for Florida gardeners.
With her son away at college, the house gets quiet, but that gives Victoria plenty of time to dream up the next story.
Until then, you can read any of her current titles in the Citrus Beach Mystery series, Sister Station series and Storm Voices series. And watch for the release of the Mrs. Avery's Adventures series.

I grew up in central NY and now live in South Florida just like the author. I'm enjoying her books tremendously and recommend them highly. Suitable for all ages. Yes,they feature a murder but no grisley details and no forensics. Love the characters and their dogs. Totally a fantastic read.
