Overview

For Gil, getting an education at a Division I university was merely the byproduct of racing cross country at the next level. About the Author

Noel Conrad ran cross country and track at Harker Heights High School and Killeen High School. He continued as a self-admitted hopeful, walking on at Texas Tech University. He commissioned into the Air Force with a degree in Russian Language and Area Studies and a Spanish minor. Combining his love of traveling and the outdoors, he looks for races in a variety of locations during vacations, much to his family’s dismay. His favorite place to run is still Dana Peak Park along Stillhouse Hollow Lake in Central Texas.
