This book provides basic Russian vocabulary designed for use by tourists, specifically in situations involving winter sports. The text begins with an explanation about how to use the book and is set up conveniently in alphabetical format instead of by themes or topics. This allows the user to find what they want to talk about without having to figure out in which area of the book the related words are located. Based on keywords, any phrase is also easy to find and the pronunciation guide provides great guidance for speaking. Following the alphabetical entries, handy appendices contain specific information about the alphabet, common conversions for weight, measurements, temperatures and clothing sizes.
