About the Author
The author spent 33 years overseas working for the Foreign Service of the U.S. Department of State. He was present in Benghazi, Libya when then Lt. Qadhafi staged his coup. He details his personal involvement in that incident. In the book, the author recalls the incidents at each of his 12 assignments that were most noteworthy to him and his family. There is an additional chapter concerning the authors life before the Foreign Service and one after retirement.
