Overview

Meet Ryder Stephens, a headstrong, but scared thirteen-year-old girl navigating the streets of New York City alone. Trusting no one, and comforted only by her violin, she reluctantly accepts the helping hand of NYC's upper class. But just as time heals the wounds that led her to run away, illness strikes her adopted family, which rapidly crumbles her new-found support. It isn't until after tragedy revisits her life that she learns from the similarities and makes steps towards closure.
