Overview

"Be my first last."

Sadie...

A beautiful girl with a selfless heart, Sadie Montague enjoys her time alone, reading in her apartment or working in the bookstore her father owns. Male attention is something she never expected, nor did she think she deserved it. When she finally goes out on the town with her girlfriends, she's immediately taken with Ethan. She is drawn to him as he stares at her with a hungry expression. She isn't the kind of girl he thinks she is and she tells him that repeatedly. It doesn't make a difference. She already belongs to him. She never had a choice.

Ethan...

Monogamy isn't on his list of exciting hobbies. On the town with a different girl every night, getting laid is always on his mind. When he meets Sadie, he completely changes. Her beauty and intelligent mind immediately capture him. He possesses her and controls her, but his usual dominance only pushes her away. Her sassy wit and strong attitude makes him step back. If he wants to keep her, he has to play this out in a different way. A successful business man and self-proclaimed bachelor, his life is turned upside down. Sadie will be his one way or another. She just needs to deal with it.

I thought the book would be bad because of he reviews. But then I read it and it was really good. The book was funny. There was one point where I wanted to kill ethan. I love elisa. Sadie is great. She is funny and smart and stubborn. The book was good but the problem was the usage of livid. There were too many times I saw that word.

Both main characters are so pathetic. He is controlling & she is annoying! Just couldn't get into their troubled relationship.

I didn't really like this... it seemed really repetitive, with unnecessary usage of the f-bomb and too many sexual scenes. They fought about the same thing over and over, and somehow, half the time, it turned into being Sadie's fault, though it was usually Ethan's obsessiveness that started it. He was way too possessive, crude, and hot-tempered. Not someone I'd want any of my friends with. That level of jealousy really isn't cute, it's something to be concerned about, and I was surprised that none of the characters seemed bothered by his violent, unpredictable behavior. All that aside, the story really didn't have much of a plot besides insecure girl meets suave, worldly man and they jump each other within two days, and fall in love in the same amount of time. I kept reading, expecting there to be some crazy plot twist or climax, but was pretty disappointed. The only interesting parts turned out to be the times when they fought, and that's kind of sad for a "love story".

Loved how controlling and demanding he was. Loved all of the characters except Alex. I truly loved the threats that he gave other guys when it involved his girl.

I thought the book was good!! I love Sadie and Ethan. Yes Eathan is so controlling!! His the type of guy that u tell your daughter to stay away!! But despite his flaws. His caring, loving. He doesn't abuse her in anyways.

This guy sets off all kind of alarms for me. Way beyond alpha to psycho contol freak. This girl is crazy to be with someone like this. This is the kind of guy that kills you so no one else can have you...

This isn't alpha man its bipolar man. "Baby" you need to find a better way to communicate. 2 word conversations vs long paragraphs. And he cant shut up during sex. What guy does that? I dont know......I wanted to like it.,just not my cup of coffee.

This wasn't your best book. It was short, and needed a lot of editiing. The Characters where so what annoying. Sadie needed to be an adult. Usually you write from both characters views so I was disappointed when I didn't get to read anything for Ethan's POV. The story was ok, could have been better.

I have always loved her books. I was a little worried about Ethan's possessiveness and temper at first, but then saw it came from a place of love, after finishing the book . I am excited to read about Elise and Jared next!

Was a good story. Needed editing though. I would have given more stars but I found a bunch of mistakes as I read which makes it less enjoyable. Still, I'm looking forward to the next book.

Not much to this. Phrases such as l usually like deflowering virgins while being w Sadie do not do it for me. Sorry l nnever finished the story.

This was a great book however; I am inclined to agree with one of the reviews I read. The use of the word ( Baby) was over done. At times it irritated me as I read. L.M.A.

Emotional abuse or mental abuse is still abuse. That is what this book is centered around. I kept waiting for the ALPHA to come out...sorry but a controlling boyfriend isn't what I consider alpha material. Even the alpha's that have bushy tails, fangs and claws treat their mates better than this jerk.
