The re-translations are great this time around, and the fact that its finally right to left makes me want to jump up and dance! I have never been this excited for a manga (well, it is Sailor Moon) and the new art covers and color pages are simply wonderful. This is my favorite manga and a true fan of SM. You have nothing to lose with this book. The only thing I can think of that might not sit quite well with readers is that if you have already read the series before this (Like I have) you will notice that the names are in their original Japanese and have the regular suffixes and all that. It took me a while to think "Usagi" than "Serena" but again, it's what makes this great. READ IT YOU GUYS!

Sailor Moon Vol. 2 continues right from the ending of volume 1. The dark kingdom is relentless in their search for the silver crystal and energy to resurrect the dark queen. Not only that, but they’ve taken a hold of Tuxedo Mask’s mind and are using him against Sailor Moon! How rude. The love Usagi has for Chiba is so swoon worthy. Even as a kid I knew I wanted a love like theirs. It brings me to tears just thinking they might not be together (even though I know how it ends HA). I know the third volume is going to be explosive with the finale of the first story arc. I want the scouts to bust out and use their powers to dominate. I feel like that’s the one big difference from the anime. In the manga they don’t seem so cool and powerful, but in the anime they kick-ass and unapologetic about it. I just hope they get explored more! I highly recommend if you are a huge fan of Sailor Moon like I am, to read the original manga. You won’t regret it.

OMG! I like love this book! Its amazing, although to understand the story line you'll need to read the first one. This book is perfect for those who love anime and like me are new to the whole thing. I would absolutely recommend this book to everyone who loves anime and who doesn't mind a little bit of romance and some mystery. You should definitely read the first one!

When I found out that they were re-releasing the Sailor Moon manga with new, more accurate translations, I was beyond excited. As a long time Sailor Moon fan, when I opened up this manga, I was not disappointed. This series is a thousand times better than the original. The story line stays more true and is definitely for an older audience than the original United States series. Its a little darker with more mature themes but still the great characters I've known and loved most of my life. Worth the money! If you're a Sailor Moon fan, look up "Sailor Moon Forever!" on Facebook. Its a group of fans discussing the new manga, sharing pictures, and keeping up to date on the new anime series coming out in 2013!

The plot thickens in volume 2 of the Sailor Moon series. The moon princess is revealed and the sailors awaken. This volume is so interesting, it's hard to put down! A quick and wonderful read.
