Saints Sinners & Sacred Ground by Jill Marie Morris

Saints Sinners & Sacred Ground is the prequel-sequel to '207: A Personal
Account of Love Paranormal Phenomenon and Demonic Possession,' (2011). It is a collective,
and investigative piece that takes the reader on a spellbinding journey into Watervliet, New
York's deeply haunted past. Filled with historical information, personal anecdotes, and local ghost stories, Jill searches for the answers to centuries of madness, murder, and suicide. With multiple deaths having transpired directly in Jill's former residence (207),
including the suicide of her husband, Saints sheds light on the home and city's, tragic, and bloody past.

Fantastic finale to 207. Alot of relevant history. Her personal stories were intriguing. Great effort put into researching the house and city right down to tenants of 207. I am still shocked that 14 residents died at the property. That is a lot for one house even for its age. Three suicides is also remarkable. I applaud the author for her research and commitment to the book considering the adversity. I happen to know two members of the St. Patrick preservation sociiety who corroborated official attempts to stop research. Saw some less than favorable reviews on amazon and tend to think they were written to give the book a bad name as I attest it is well written and spot on. Highly recommend this to others who read 207, or to those that may. Five stars.

Worth the wait to get my hands on this book. Didn't think it would be released for another year. The author put in great effort to research the house and history. This is unique for the genre as many invent stories and do not back them up with fact. Took me a few days to finish due to interruptions with holiday guests. It is well written for a non traditional platform. Fascinating story from 207, straight into Saints. Look forward to more of her investigative work and want to find out more about her abilities as a medium. Five star read.

I went to the store to see if they carried the book and they ordered it for me. Its longer then her first book 207 but just as good! Def worth the wait for it to come out. The history makes you think about what went on in 207 and in the area. I am reading it again because I want more! This is a real ghost story in a city filled with ghosts but the author tells you why. OMG. Loved this book and 207!

I suppose the history is a big part of the author's story but I'm not into that. I wanted more personal story. She does have parts in the book that are like 207 which make it really interesting. I wasn't sure about all the buzz I  heard about indian remains but now see how everything came together. I side with the author on what is going on. There has been to much weird stuff in the city forever. I know 11 people who have committed suicide in the last 10 years and they were good hard working people. She has a point. Good book but allot of history. I want to read more of her works.
