Overview

Salome Laughs Best: A Script of Deceit by J. Delgado-Figueroa

Do you enjoy a tawdry tale of greed, infidelity, extramarital sex and lies (James Cain in the sultry tropics, no murder), but can do without the futile Pulitzer-aspiring descriptions? This book is for you, scripted pulp-fictionalized reality! Based on a true story! Salomé Marqués withstands her unfaithful husband's humiliations, because, after all, she is sure she will survive him, keep his money, live any way she wants and laugh last-and best. "Not so fast," says fate.
