Lita Harris's second installment in the 'Samantha' Trilogy successfully continues the story. The pace of the book is steady and Harris has included many surprises for her readers. The author provides the reader with many opportunities to judge the characters, both old and new. Samantha is at a crossroads of sorts and struggles to find her place in the world. The Kaitlin element adds an exciting dimension to the story that makes the reader anxious for the release of book three in 2005.
