Francesco d'Errico is Director of Research of Exceptional Class at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, University of Bordeaux, France, and Professor at the Centre for Early Sapiens Behaviour, University of Bergen, Norway. Author of more than 200 articles and research monographs, he is ranked since 2016 in the list of the Highly Cited Researchers in social sciences.
