I purchased this pictorial book to look at as I was reading a book about the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. The book I was reading didn't have many pictures in it. This book has loads of pictures of the disaster. A nice companion book to Simon Winchester's book, "A Crack in the Edge of the World". This was a great tragedy for all ancestors in 1906.
